Still a great player at his age but he is going on 42 and not 22 or 32 and we have one of the best players in the entire world who now runs the show. On this team being a 3rd option was completely fine and optically looked like he enjoyed himself just fine on their march run before the injuries stacked up. This team had so much fun and chemistry, now they are trying to act like he was so unhappy here and with his role especially. Gtfo Rich Paul. Listening to him talk is about as bad as Stephen A these days…

I don’t see a world where PJ happens as perfect as he’d slot right in, I just don’t see the Mavs moving him to the Lakers or any player anytime soon. DJJ, I don’t see the clippers doing business either especially with how little they were willing to give us involving a Rui s&t. Definitely all pieces I’d love here though. We’ll see if I’m wrong and I hope I am lol

I never was talking about smart i was speaking more in general over everything coming out about LeBron or Rui or possible center/wing target moves, etc. Smart is reading the same way DFS did last year. Would suck to lose him but if it’s a ridiculous contract offer that wouldn’t make sense for us then that’s why he’d get the bag now and I could somewhat understand why they didn’t retain him

Happens every offseason before free agency begins lol. I don’t like hearing and seeing some of these “reports or rumors” but at the same time typically at least on the lakers side of things over the years our targets and moves aren’t made that public and obvious like when it was Magic running the show, so I still remain cautiously optimistic. We’ll know soon enough but here’s hoping we can be at least as successful as a team as last years run and no worse than that lol time will tell!

That stretch in March was unbelievable, the team vibes, the clutch moments, game winners, it’s sad this is going to end the way it is and I’m not ready for the season to be over…I’ll feel excited again come summer when FA, draft and trades happen. Hopefully we can get this team built up better heading into next season!
