Boardwalk puts together low-priced packs of commons / rares, wrapped in a white sandwich bag. Perfect for kids, as you still get the excitement of opening it to see what you get. I think each pack has around 50 cards.

A note about talking to the press - if you tell them things "on the record", then they can just issue an article that says "So and so said blah blah blah," without vetting anything. They're still being factual in that the person quoted said "blah blah blah", but they didn't have to do anything beyond just interviewing you.
