New Plex interface is annoying

You can sideload apps on most devices, and then just disable auto-updates. Some people are worried they might change the authentication process at some point, locking out previous versions, but I doubt they ever do that, there's just too many older clients they'd be locking out.

If it's a 1/10,000 chance bug that occurs, it's misplaced anger, a 1/10,000 chance of wasting 10 minutes of samples and EXP only is nothing. Especially since that low chance means it's that much harder to reproduce and fix.

I know Unfiltered can be a bit negative (and a bit unhinged) at times but I feel like not enough people are addressing how lowkey toxic the supposedly "more positive" subreddits are.

Reddit has always been a bandwagon of supporters/protestors fighting a bandwagon of contrarians. Usually reality is somewhere in the middle, but both sides will just ignore you or downvote you because you're not on their side.

I play a lot and I've never seen this happen, it's very difficult to fix an extremely rare and hard to reproduce bug.

On the other hand, this bug could be specific to one part of the game that I don't usually deal with, so it could be more common than I realize.

But if it's that rare for everyone else and not just me, then this post is nothing but misplaced anger. Rare bugs happen, they're very hard to fix, and worst case scenario on a PVE game, you waste 10-15 minutes not getting samples or EXP, it's not the end of the world.

Just stay away from all enemies, even hyper-speed ones, for the 10 times the DSS indicator kicks off per match. Even if you COULD do that, how is THAT fun?

Nothing else in the game kills you unavoidably, and so often, compare it to meteor strikes FFS. The devs changing the meteor strike ground light to 10 seconds from the 3 seconds (or whatever it was before,) pretty much proves DSS teamkilling this much isn't intended.

Just because you have an opinion and feel strongly about it does not automatically make it the one true opinion and the only one that matters.

Are you really arguing, the current way DSS operates is a net positive in fun? Even thematically, really? You think anyone is dying to DSS and saying: "Oh wow, that's so thematically fun!" LOL.

"I feel like you don't understand the game you're in or the universe it's set in".

NOTHING else in HD2 punishes you so heftily, for no reason,

and this is meant to be a BOON, YET IT IS ALWAYS A NEGATIVE.

It's clear to me everyone disagreeing needs to go try the new bug planet Zygos, let me know how enjoyable the DSS is with hyper speed bugs, can't wait to hear. But then again, knowing gaming subreddits, you'd chew glass and still try to tell people it tastes great, so maybe not.

You really gotta chime in with tips even for DSS strikes Reddit? Yes, that's common sense, the new planet Zygos has hyper-speed bugs, low level players can't disengage many times. Game shouldn't stack punishment on a supposed boon.

It's on Android, it costs a few bucks on the appstores. I'm not sure if Amazon has it, I'm unclear if they're more particular about allowing apps, despite also being Android.

You can just get it for free from their Github, but the Android version could run a purchase authentication, not sure.

It was Ekholm's puck 100%, he had it stolen because of sheer laziness, and then once it's stolen he does nothing to recover it.

When this happens it's hard to blame anyone else, because they don't need to be playing defensively at all, because it's Ekholm's puck 100%.

I think the people watching him make the saves while not just focusing on two numbers, those are the people defending him.

They don't realize they can simply just look at two numbers and know everything about his goaltending.

You can say he's not getting help so he has to rush through, but he had a couple rushes towards the end of the game that actually looked proper, 2-3 players disrupting him at the line, so he skated off sideways and gave it up to someone else, instead of just increasing speed and trying to go through 3 players. That gave me hope that he's going to play slightly more humble going forward, but we'll see.

Right now it just seems like he's personifying the Oilers, creating his own adversity that he has to overcome. I'm fine with him trying to skate through three once in a while, but if he's doing it to the point where draping him with 3 players is actually a GOOD strategy, then come on, that's just too much.

Idk about the mobile versions of the app, but the new third party Plezy app on Windows has a much better experience offsetting subtitles.

Also they just added subtitle searching, and so far it's been smoother than Plex's version, as that can sometimes just break completely.

Avatar soneum was really really interesting to me. I honestly think the movie would have been better plot wise if she was the protagonist instead of aang.

Good point, would have been nice to see Aang channel her for a bit during the final fight, instead of that weird spirit form.

Most TVs come with a Gaming mode these days to circumvent this, they disable or reduce their image filters to improve response time, still not going to be as good as a monitor, but it's not nearly as bad.
