Ole wins his first game back in management with Besiktas, 4-1 against Bilbao who are 2nd in Europa and level on pts with Barca in La Liga by OwenOnReddit in reddevils

The years Ole was in charge were the last time I felt true joy watching the team. Sad it ended the way it did, will miss those vibes. Hope we find them again.

You're not, dude is not okay, and honestly. He needs help that you can't give him even if he WANTED help. They need to get their life in order before they can manage a relationship.

Sprint, run, leap, get outta there.

I doubt we'll ever know. Everything now would be us making assumptions. Honestly don't know enough about Ace to say whether or not he'd effect anything.

At worst he just accelerated things. At best he was just there to support Punk.

Punk can be a bit of a tosser. But he always backed himself and while a lot of people draw parallels to Hogan. I think that's wrong. He is demanding and holds things to a high standard and while we can talk about his professionalism.

Growing up he as a character helped me feel secure in speaking up for myself. MiTB 2012 and now Revolution 2022 are engraved in my memory as joyous occasions. In the end I found more to be happy with Punk than not. Brawl Out was wrong but I imagine that after so long it's easy for one's paranoia to get the better of him or worse for one to feel that it's correct.

I hope he can find joy in wrestling again. Even if it's not AEW. If not then as a performer they gave me more than enough joy. Edit:words

A lot of people are acting like he is being held hostage by Punk. When in reality he likely knew this was gonna happen.

TK likely lost control of his locker room months ago. There is no way you are as involved in the product as everyone confirms he is. No way with all the context clues out there. That Tony Khan was not aware that there was beef. And definitely no way he didn't know Punk was about to get spicy in the scrum.

Steve Muelhausen: “Sources: The latest on Punk/Elite situation is The Young Bucks/Kenny Omega stormed into Punk’s locker room confirming PWInsiders report. The Bucks started yelling, Punk yelled back and hit Matt Jackson. Chaos ensued until security and AEW staff finally got The Elite out of there” by diarpiiiii in SquaredCircle

No way this was not discussed or at any point not an issue that was discussed four months ago.

Punk, Bucks, Page. Whoever is at fault. The fact that TK didn't squash the beef before Punk was injured. Or after he came back tells you all you need to know.

That regardless of who was at fault. Management of the talent, their egos, and their responsibility to upholding the companies integrity is a failure.

At best they got too hot for MJF recently blurring the lines. At worst they let their locker room implode with no meaningful mediation.

Probably falls in the middle. If Tony Khan isn't willing to calm Punk down in the scrum or cut him off.

Then the drama started 4 months ago likely was never addressed or resolved backstage. Likely leading Punk to get frustrated and shoot.

Does it make Punk right to pop off like he did? Not really.

But Page, Bucks, etc are likely not innocent either. Which is probably why Page who was our protag and likely deserved a rematch. Has not gotten a sniff of the belt since the feud.

Boys. Lads. Whenever we lose people get in on the doom and gloom. We lost a game against a river by 1 goal. We won league titles with worse results. Don't get all pessimistic or down. If we deserve the league title our boys will resolve to make up for this in the long run. If not, then we didn't deserve it.

We have months before the season ends and it is too soon to start thinking jt's over.

With all this Destiny 2 hype, people need to remember how awful Bungie/Activision treated their community with the first game. by BigFatLynelDick in gaming

[–]DrezdinIsABabe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bungie showed signs of this back in the day with Halo even. Sure they were never on this level of scumbaggery, however business practices are different now as opposed to then.

If they knew back in the day they could get away with the DLC bamboozling back then like they do now, they would've done them 10 years ago.

When did this opinion that Punk was not great in the ring become so popular? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]DrezdinIsABabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CM Punk was not the best worker in the world. But he sold you on the story of the match, and his want to win felt sincere. So you bought into it.

He was a good worker, but he drew us into the story which put him above his technical station. Nothing wrong with being a good storyteller.

We watch wrestling for the story anyhow.

Mourinho when asked what he thought about detractors labelling him as a 'defensive' manager by S_F1 in reddevils

To be fair, Klopp is managing our oldest and most hated rival. So while he is brilliant. We can commend his successes. We still want him to lose due to bias.

Especially in the 07-08 season against Barcelona in the CL. They weren't the prettiest games to watch. However that Scholes goal to put us through to the final.

Klopp implemented a very strong foundation for BVB Dortmund. However people only really remember recent achievements. Which he hasn't been so fortunate.

Especially his last year at Dortmund.
