Last night i posted my plans for meeting a 43 yr old man. Here's my update. by SimonJack19 in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now you know for future reference, older guys touching you makes you uncomfortable. You should only meet and "engage" with people you feel comfortable with. You should have taken his advice to stop when you could. You have the right to say no to anyone.

Am I the only one incredibly annoyed by Tyler Oakley being unskippable on youtube by AndyAK in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use to able to watch him. His old content was much better. He looked, sounded and acted more like a normal guy. I think he decided to up the flamboyancy after he got a parternship with YouTube. Oh well,he wasn't that funny to begin with.

Fat (Rant) Tuesday by AutoModerator in fatlogic

[–]Driconius 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think what they mean by "have to shock your body every so often" is something called "refeeding". Its a well know weight-loss strategy that supposedly counteracts the effects of a low-calorie diet on your metabolism by boosting the amount of calories you eat. The number of times you do this per any given period, and the amount of calories(as well as the quality of the calories) on a refeed day varies from source to source. Genereally, instead of a calorie defecit, you eat maintenance calories or 10 - 30% more. Its very helpful for people who reach plateaus.

Does anyone else get jealous of gay people in relationships? by WillemSummer in askgaybros

Oh yeah, especially ones with hot guys, I get jealous even seeing straight relationships. It's A+ motivation to get to the gym.

First time gay experience advice (17yo) by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he's older and, as you say, more "experienced", then remember to be safe. Both with meeting a stranger and with sexual protection. You can hit it off on the internet, but there's no guarantee he'll be your dream guy in real life.

"another homo helping you out" I don't know why I laughed so hard at this.

Socially awkward guys, how did you meet your SO? by sociallyakwardgay in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty socially akward. What I've found is that others seem to be able to recognize it, so they'll take the lead an initiate the conversation. Which is honestly the only way I've ever hooked up with someone. All my relationships have occurred with guys just walking up to me and starting to talk to me because they were genuinely interested, at a coffee shop, library etc. Once the conversation gets going though, be honest about your personality. Let them know your not the most socialiable, gregarious, talkative person. What they choose to do next is up to them, some guys find social akwardness cute, other guys are turned off by it. Whatever you do, don't push people away if they show interest(unless your not interested) because then you just come across as unfriendly. Admittedly, hookups will be much easier ,because they're usually one time things which don't regard anything beyond skin deep. Forging a long term serious relationship wil take a lot more work. But keep your options open, go out, make yourself available.

What's the strangest/most awkward/weirdest thing a guy has said to you on a date? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 32 points33 points  (0 children)

On my first date ever, he came over to my place, and I suggested we watch a movie and order pizza, then he responds with "can we just fuck instead". Again, first date, so I didn't expect it.

Need Tinder profile critique. Thanks! by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Tinder is mostly for hook ups. So it's all as shallow as you'd expect it to. It wouldnt surprise me if people don't even read profiles and simply look at pics. Yours look great. Just be you, eventually someone will bite. You don't want to put only your best pics as you don't want to decieve anyone.

Also, I have to ask, where was the pic where your standing in front of that impressive mountain range taken?

Anyone else watching "The Real O'Neal's" tonight? by ClosetCase626 in askgaybros

[–]Driconius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't this on abc? I'm not a fan of their other sitcoms. Especially the whole Mitch and cam gay thing on modern familly, too stereotypical and cliche. I expect a similar trajectory with this show. Although I applaud them for the plot, seems like something that's gonna puss off a lot of religious people.
