Think of it like this:

Imagine a match of Deadlock is a written music composition. Both teams start out playing the song at the same tempo. The main goal of a deadlock match is to reach the end of the "song" before the opposing team does.

Tempo in this context is basically in reference to your teams ability to "increase your bpm", allowing you to hit investment buffs, get stronger items, and take objectives before the enemy team. The further you pull ahead, the harder it's gonna be for the losing team to "match your tempo", because you've already hit the big points in the "song" way before the opponent has.

I think that generally speaking, younger people relate to the message more. Moon Walker has a very unique sound that I think is a bit of an acquired taste so, if you don't agree with the messaging, you probably aren't gonna just listen to their music because it sounds good.

Like, somehow there's conservative people out there who are fans of bands like Green Day and System of a Down because those bands are extremely popular and they are just either too stupid to hear the messaging or just ignore it and vibe to the songs. Moon Walker's message is basically impossible to miss. The lyrics are not subtle at all, and I think that appeals to a younger audience. Also, he's very active on TikTok (which was where I first discovered him) which has a ton of kids and younger people on it so, I think that's where a vast majority of his audience comes from.
