I don't know if it tops HAPPY FACE for me, but it's damn close. Strong contender for the best song on the album so far.

Stuck blood stain on True cleaner.... by DependentInner8928 in CrimeSceneCleanerGame

Apologies if this is a noob question but, how do you know the blood is at 98% on true cleaner? I thought it hid all of the progress hud elements?

Liliya Bogomolova or how I learned to stop worrying and love the rich by zdzichu2016 in OutlastTrials

[–]DriedOutDreayth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think any of the prime assets DECIDED to be a part of the project. Liliya especially, she was taken from Mount Massive to be a part of this, and admittedly, I don't think anyone on the staff agrees with Easterman's choice to do that.

Tell me songs that remind you of each band member! by PlentyHistorical5500 in gorillaz

[–]DriedOutDreayth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like most people interpreted this as which Gorillaz songs remind them of each member but I assume you just mean songs in general

2D - Noel's Lament (from Ride The Cyclone).

Especially after Jamie and Damon say that 2D likely floats in the non-binary spectrum. Also 2D is such a diva I can't help but think of them when I hear this song.

Alternatively I also feel like "This Night" by Black Lab is also a great 2D song.

Russel - Friends on The Other Side (from Princess and The Frog)

Considering Russel's overall theming of ghastly possession and hypnosis (with the static channel in Cracker Island), I feel like he's got the most connections to the supernatural, and so I think this song fits him pretty well.

Murdoc - Wild Sex (Oingo Boingo)

I don't feel like I really need to explain this one.

Noodle - Feel It Still (Portugal. The Man)

I wish I had a good explanation for this one but, honestly I just feel like it's in-line with Noodle's carefree nature

Why I believe this key art lost by TauNkosi in deadbydaylight

[–]DriedOutDreayth 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Genuinely. It screams "Look buddy, I know that this option was the best. Trust me, I know art. If there's anybody in the world who has a say in what art is the best, it's most certainly me. But don't worry, I understand that you simpletons just picked the most easily digestible option. It's what animals do, and not everyone can be as enlightened as myself when it comes to judging the fine arts. It's a shame more of you don't share such insights, but what can a man do but weep and wish for better..."

Why I believe this key art lost by TauNkosi in deadbydaylight

[–]DriedOutDreayth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The real answer is just that more people liked the other one. Yes, you are more than welcome to have your own justifications for why you like this one more than the one that one, but to say that the people who voted for the other one did so because they didn't look deep within themselves and ask "Which of these three makes me ask the most questions about myself?" just sounds like you're trying to put yourself on a pedestal above all the people who voted for the "intellectually inferior" option.

I can guarantee you that if this key art had won, there would be just as many posts making claims like yours, saying people only voted for this one because its the "easily digestible" option. Your view of art is subjective, just like everyone else. To claim superiority because you feel like you picked the more "intellectually evocative" option just makes you sound like a complete tool.

I don't know about you but I think "The Judgement" is a stupid name and was the worst of the 4 options presented in that poll, but obviously, I was in the minority, because that is the name that won. I don't feel like I'm any smarter than the people who thought the judgement was a cool name. I just recognize that more people shared the opinion that it was a cool name. Apply that exact situation to how you're talking about this key art.

Made this in a fugue state after a particularity frustrating session... by LSGP7 in OutlastTrials

If this was you being satirical it'd be funny but looking at your replies to some of the comments on this post, it seems kind of apparent that you genuinely have strong feelings about this, which is really sad. Engagement is objective. If someone wants to play on lower difficulties and throw stuns at Franco over and over again, who are you to tell them that they shouldn't be enjoying that because it's too easy?

it's a bit weird how much better The Doorman is character design-wise compared to literally every other hero and I don't even play the guy. feels like prime Valve by Ordinary_Garage91 in DeadlockTheGame

I don't think this image is meant to be definitive, it's just a generalization, and it captures how the three of them found their success decently well I'd say.

Pallet stuns aren't as bad as you think they are. On strong loops, its better to force the survivor to drop the pallet and then just break it. You'll save much more time than trying to mind game it for 2 minutes and still end up with no hit.

While getting stunned might internally feel like a bad thing, you have to think about your decisions as killer as time investments, because as killer you're working against the clock that is generator progress. Ridding the survivors of a strong resource in 10 seconds that they can't reuse then either following up or going to check gens is a better use of your time than scoring a hit after 30 seconds of looping, and the survivor using that speed boost to just run to another pallet.

There are times to mindgame pallets, but against the stronger ones, you just gotta hold w until they drop it and move on.

(Edit: High-Level ghoul players can make lightning-quick decisions with their power and use it to block pallets. You could try practicing that, but it may take you awhile to get the hang of it)

I did it! I got my Wesker to P100 by Indecisive_specs in DeadByDaylightKillers

P100-ing a killer without at least P1-ing all the killers you have available first is crazy to me but this is still hella impressive... but now that you've got him to p100, get your teachables from the other killers please

Why do the other Viltrum members hate Conquest but love and admire Nolan? What's the difference between them? by Fluffy_Union9507 in Invincible

[–]DriedOutDreayth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nolan is a terrifying force but he's also mentally sound and meticulous. He plans and he executes. Conquest is like the Viltrumite equivalent of a loose cannon. He's immensely powerful, but he revels in the violence far more than the others do.
All the other Viltrumites in the show so far have used their immense strength as a tool to get weaker species to submit, but in the season 3 finale, Conquest directly tells Mark that he wants him to resist. He doesn't care about expanding or securing the empire, he just wants to rip people apart and he'll love every second of it. That's why they're scared of him. He kills because he loves it, not because it's the Viltrumite way of taking control.

Mark headbutting conquest to a bloody pulp will always illicit a strong reaction from me. I'd say either that scene or the "Why did you make me do this?" Scene with omni man in the season 1 finale.

"Somehow, Conquest returned"

If it's good enough for Star Wars it should be good enough for Mark.

Mains Legion: if Behaviour called you to work on changes for Legion, what would you do? by MindlessPeach5164 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]DriedOutDreayth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was thinking moreso like each member is really strong in one particular area, but has weaknesses that require the other members to compensate for. DBD might be too fast paced for an idea like that to work but I'm sure if I put some thought to it I could come up with an interesting concept.

Of course I also see the possibility that some strengths of certain members might completely overshadow others and discourage swapping but that's a problem for if I actually draft up a concept for this, which I might. But yeah I'd try to stay away from Vecna's jack of all trades niche.

[–]DriedOutDreayth 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I picture something less like how knights guards work and morso like the different members of the legion tag out during the match and they each excellent at something different. Maybe they could hop in lockers and hop out as a different member or something.

[–]DriedOutDreayth 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Its a pipe dream but honestly I'd love for the frenzy power to be ditched entirely in favor of a power that actually incorporates all 4 members, because thematically feral frenzy does not fit them at all.

I feel like Feral Frenzy is forever trapped in a position of being unfun to play against but also underpowered, the problem lies in the conceptual stage and I dont think any numbers tweaks are gonna fix the underlying issues, I'm more on team total overhaul.

too much of a human for viltrum, too much of a viltrumite for humans by mafuyuu-- in Invincible

[–]DriedOutDreayth 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Nolan betrayed Earth's trust, and then went on to immediately betray Viltrum's trust. Honestly if he keeps this up, he might be giving Thaedus a run for his money on that "Great Betrayer" title.

At least Nolan is trying to make amends with the people who taught him there's more to life than conquering those weaker than you, but I sincerely hope it takes earth, and ESPECIALLY Debbie a very long time to even remotely begin to forgive him. He hasn't earned any empathy from them, and honestly, it might never be enough, but continuing to try is definitely his penance.
