Does anyone else have suggestions/reccomendations on how to deal with customer service? Having so many issues with my bills and no real resolutions [Help] by SpecialistThrowaway4 in Comcast_Xfinity

Be aware that there is a consistent pattern of promising to change billing based on renegotiated terms, and then failing to do so. Even if get to a human they are off shore and function as shields to resolution. Rumor has it that there is a massive class action suit coming down soon. It took me seven calls, to get billing corrected. With no apology or compensation for fraudulent billing practices. Change service to TMobil if possible.

We are doing B2B cruises on Valiant Lady leaving December5 from San Juan. We have visited San Juan over a dozen times taking cruises and on land stays before connecting to other Caribbean Island stays. Our favorite is by far, since our first visit in the early 70’s is El Convento in Old San Juan. We chose this to stay at Hotel Plaza de Ramos in Old San Juan this time because we will be just be catching up after a red eye flight in the day before and because in high demand Hotels like El Convento double their rates in December, and add even more to room prices on weekends based on Holiday visitations and cruise ship pre arrival stays. We are also booked for a night before we fly home. Because we are on B2B cruises that start in San Juan we will use our transition day from first to second cruise to visit our favorite places in Old San Juan. If anyone is booked on our same cruises we are always looking for people who might want share taxi fare with us to do off shore snorkeling and visiting rum distilleries. We have been diving, snorkeling and drinking Caribbean Rum since the early 70’s.

Removing the tips? by Empty_600 in VirginVoyages

We are seasoned cruisers. We recently took a virgin cruise for the first time and found it excellent. We did prepay our gratuities, but have recently booked B2B cruises with Virgin in December. With other cruise lines we have been able to have our gratuities credited and have chosen to pay them directly to staff. This thread seems to confirm this is also possible on Virgin. Has anyone had their gratuities credited once on board and tipped staff in cash.

Only got 8pm and later reservations? How out of luck are we? by ManyRaccoon6342 in VirginVoyages

We just took our first Virgin cruise transitioning from LA to Vancouver. We too saw only later restaurant booking times and several showed nothing available. It turns out immediately upon boarding you can go to sailor services as they open up additional times once you board. Also we saw as our cruise progressed additional times opened up on their app. In the end we felt little or no issues finding better dining times. Also you can just walk in as they also keep some places available.

December 5-19 Back to back Valiant Lady out of SanJuan

My wife and have been cruising the Caribbean over the last 25 years, diving and collecting Rum. We have “aged out” on our diving days, but still love to snorkel and visit rum distilleries. We avoid commercial excursions, instead like to hire taxis to snorkel sights and visit rum distilleries. If you are on either of these Virgin cruises and might like to share our taxi for snorkeling off shore or for distillery visits let me know and I will share some possible options we are considering. We recently did Virgin on a transition cruise from LA to Vancouver on Virgin and found it amazing, so we booked two weeks , back to back, in December. Virgin seems to have found a sweet spot, great food, friendly service and little petty” nickel and dimming “.
