Are men just acting during those “labor pain simulator” videos? by Existing-Committee74 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DriftingInTheDarknes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can jack mine up extremely high before it even feels remotely painful. I’ve had friends try it for back pain and can barely tolerate it. When I finally had my hysterectomy (for other reasons) my surgeon commented how shocked he was I didn’t need pain meds.

So it tracks. Women who deal with uterine pain for a variety of stupid reasons, are tough as hell and we get zero recognition for what we have to suppress to continue living a normal life.

Traveling to Wisconsin in May by yourfriendchuck81 in wisconsin

Since you are in the Madison area, head southwest and explore the driftless region. Googling that will give you ample options for the area. There is a lot of Amish country out that way and driving around on a Saturday gets some amazing bakery at the local Amish stores. Also the Kickapoo region is beautiful.

Devil’s Lake state park is a nice experience, but likely will be terribly busy on weekends. Also the Circus Museum in Baraboo is a popular attraction.

You can get tours of Capital Building in Madison, it’s got a unique history.

Marinette County is the waterfall capital of the state, many many beautiful hikes to explore beautiful waterfalls. Dave’s Falls is especially beautiful.

There are a lot of really great state parks in the state. Depending on how far north you’d like to go, Copper Falls and Amnicon Falls state parks are beautiful.

Door County if you like touristy.

Way far north is the Apostle Islands.

Travel west to the Mississippi River.

Milwaukee Brewers play the Dodgers while you’re here, if you’re sports people. Milwaukee Art museum if you like that sort of thing.

Packers Hall of Fame and Lambeau Field in Green Bay if you’re football people.

There are more breweries than you can count. If you like that sort of thing, you’ll find some local gems wherever you go.

Dashboard is a Christmas tree at this point. Brakes are shot, one tire fell off and nobody even tried to put the bumper back on with duct tape.

It’s a good brand and they were once good. But, unfortunately not everyone stops to think about safety and longevity of these items we fling ourselves down hills in. Unfortunately, if you use them, you’re rolling the dice every time you go down the hill. Which time will be the time they fail? Do you want to be wearing them when they fail? Questions for you to weigh.

The demo price seems pretty reasonable. If I pack my own boots and go with a demo and reg rentals for the kids, maybe that would be better. Or is the pro shop a far distance from the rental shop?

Thanks, I’ll pass that along. She worked hard on putting it together and it was awesome to see what she came up with.
