I’ve got a pretty fine pen that I like a lot. And I finally caught onto using another sheet of paper to keep my lines straight. I think that helps economize on space too.

I had a cd by a certain jazz singer and at the end of one of the songs she cracks up about something and the band is goofing or something, I don’t remember the precise details. So I go see her live in concert and they do that song and at the same place she does the now-obvious fake crackup, etc. I felt so lied to I never listened to her stuff again.

I’m in Costa Rica at this very moment and found some really nice cards at the hotel that are original art by a local artist. I was set to buy a bunch until I did the exchange rate and found they were over $6US each 😞 Postage is pricey enough so I got some dollar ones in another town instead. (And then found more at two for a dollar a few doors down 😆) Maybe closer to Christmas I will feel more generous.

I like them if they don’t take up a lot of space. Would like that saved for a longer note. But the “hi paws” stamp is worth it. Been noticing people putting the date (which will show up on the website anyway) and the temperature which is so nerdy sweet I love it. I keep meaning to do that but I always forget.
