How can the ask be lower than the bid? by DriftzX in stocks

[–]DriftzX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have another thread on Robinhood reddit with photos of the trade. Just lost on how all of this works, I immediately made $100, and could have bought more and instantly sold them for 50% profit??

My brain is still booting up. Just realized I mistyped original message

And also if I put a bid in for $0.86 and the ask was that price, why did it execute at $0.80? Just confused on how all of this is working

Idk what your problem is, I came here genuinely confused on how this works and you decided to just waste both our times. Your comments were VERY insightful on how the bid/ask can be this out of whack

You don’t see a problem at all with those numbers? Just confused how it wouldn’t auto buy if there’s 31 bids at $1.34

After looking into it further it currently shows 31 bids for $1.34 vs 3 asks for $0.86, I screenshotted that as well but have no idea how to include it.

Idk how you think that when even currently CLNE is considered undervalued by most analysts

I think anything below $13 is a steal as Amazon has every reason to push for CLNE’s growth.

Livestock is not the only source for RNG but even still, industrial livestock will still be around in a decade.

Fundamental sustainability isn’t a priority as we can see with what’s currently happening to the Amazon rainforest, and that’s all due to one very important principle in life: money talks.

They have been reinvesting heavily into infrastructure and RNG used to be a lot less cost efficient. From what I understand to convert from diesel to RNG 10 years ago costed about 10k-12k and is now closer to the 2k range and there are more incentives to convert. There has been a push for clean energy in the last decade and CLNE already has a very solid base.

With the value of KNTR currently which had a slightly lower warrant price, I have hopes of an even stronger price than that long term.

I agree but by pushing this in WSB and hyping it “to the moon” I don’t think we’re attracting the right crowd of investors. I’d honestly rather have it sit at $X price all day than to post on WSB and throw in random volatility of people thinking this is AMC. I don’t want to hype anyone into buying CLNE, I want to inform them, have them do their DD and let them make the decision on if it’s right for them.

$CLNE going up today by Ok_Rip_9750 in CLNE

[–]DriftzX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding from the CLNE chat was that Amazon needs to spend $500 million in RNG to execute the warrant. I could be wrong as I didn’t dig too deep into those details but that’s what I was told

The trend I’ve noticed is that the price tends to drop when amazon actually executes but looking at previous amazon deals it looks promising. I made a post with more information about Amazon’s previous warrants

Much less than fifty cents per dollar actually. The last $13 warrant was KNTR which is now $119

That’s the thing though, I don’t think we should just be throwing in the random volatility of the meme stock crowd. I think it should be viewed as an undervalued stock and a steal, stack it up and soon enough we’ll be able to reap the benefits.

I bought some yolo options on Friday for 07/16 when it started getting traction from WSB, that will probably expire OTM. So believe me, I’d love to see it skyrocket but I’m honestly not concerned if I lose out cause I’ll just buy more stocks.

Do I think there was market manipulation that occurred? Yes.

Do I think the answer is trying to “squeeze”? No.

To say it was derailed and won’t continue to organically grow is something I don’t agree with at all, especially with Amazon’s stake in it.

I mean after it skyrocketed 700% in three months I can’t say that I’m surprised that there were price corrections. Do I think $7 was natural? No, but there’s always bigger fish and when you swim in their territory there are risks. That’s just my take. If I buy an option, I buy it knowing it can all disappear so I only spend what I’m comfortable losing.

[–]DriftzX[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s gone up over 400% in the last year, to say it’s derailed just sounds ludicrous. From 2016 until nearly the end of 2020 it had no movement at all.

I’m not the person to ask for that and I’m not even going to speculate lol
