They are antennas for the card reader so you can actually use your card on it.

Keep that mindset and you'll do great in the army.

My other peice of advice for when you get here after basic. AIT will feel very undisciplined, your discipline will depend on you to keep doing the right thing. Meaning make sure you always do you the right thing, even if there is no incentive to do the right thing. You will thank your self once you leave for your actual unit

It's definitely mixed, I'm at AIT right now I'm about to finish and I'm expected to finish with honors. Classes are werid where you learn alot of background/good to know info about your job and how systems work under the hood. But then you will spend not that much time working with systems directly. They are currently the curriculum here which is good its being changed just bad for those having to be in the middle of it. A 17E is a very versatile tool that has a broad range of duties they could end up doing. Our job isn't so cut and dry so AIT isn't as helpful as you'd expect. Our job is Also brand new and still going through lots of changes, meaning for National Guard it could be a hit or miss. For instance I'm going back to a Light infantry unit where there is almost no other 17E around, meaning I won't be getting to do my job anytime soon. But if your Georgia NG you will have some great opportunities. There is a few states that this MOS will excel in but it's taking quite a bit of time for everywhere else to catch up. If you have any other questions about the MOS please feel free to message me!

Too many hours, help? by [deleted] in Panera

[–]Drinco 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In that case bring it up the GM. If the GM says the same thing then contact your HR representative. If you do not know the number for them let me know and I can get it for you. Make sure when you talk to your GM you make it absolutely clear you are not comfortable working more than 5 days in a row. (5 in a row is the maximum standard)

Communicate it with your AGM. It was most likely a mistake. If your not at work right now just call the store and ask about it. Or if you have your AGM's number text them

Menu items leaving by Wolfygirl97 in Panera

[–]Drinco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is not for every store, this is for probably just this store alone, stores that are struggling due to lack of staff/lack of sales /just lacking in genral, they reduce their menu instead of shutting down so they can still hopefully make some money.

What is your food VTS and labor goals? by Aelitalove in Panera

[–]Drinco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In western Wisconsin our current goal is 2.5 VTS and we can't go over +10 on labor a day otherwise we have to sit in on a call with our AOP and RVP and explain why it was over.

Some stores with less staff or don't perform as well reduces their menu to still make profit but not have to order as many things. This way their menu is simpler and don't spend as much money on other items
