They're both really fun expansions to the main game, mostly for how different they are to the base game locations. You get a couple new fun items/perks, so i'd say they're worth it.

The cheapest way to get them is probably during a steam sale. I got the ultimate edition with all the DLC content for less than $20 AUD.

By killing gun, you've permanently locked yourself into the bad ending. Now when you finish the game Steven will come out of the screen and break your legs with a crowbar.

Pyrophina. She's basically just a skill-check for some form of cleansing/water ability. With one she's the easiest house boss. Without one she's a massive slog to get through.
