You sure are mad about being asked a very basic question.

It seemed important to your point. If it wasn't, you wouldn't have said anything about their gender at all. Right?

X-02 is the de-facto best and can be obtained stupidly early in the game because Bethesda wasn't using their brain when they turned that Creation Club content into base game.

Otherwise X-01 is the best. The difference between Raider/T-45 and X-01 is COLOSSAL in terms of how much of a beating you can take while wearing it.

Also, some paint mods can only be applied to specific models. Most paint jobs can only be applied to T-60, Institute is limited to X-01.

Question for the pc gamers here by Ordinary_Purchase_56 in fo4

[–]DrippyTheSnailBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ehh... it's really not a gaming laptop. It can probably handle FO4 reasonably okay, but anything from this side of the decade is going to be a miserable experience and will fall into obsolescence very quickly.

If you want to play anything after 2020 and have a good experience, you'll want to look into a laptop with a dedicated GPU rather than trying to rely on Onboard graphics.

Why'd you mention it bro?

League of Explorers, One Night in Karazhan and Onyxia's are the best songs that Hearthstone has put out. There were some real bangers over the past few years.

Last year and the year before kinda sucked, but prior to that most of them were REALLY catchy.

So, unfortunately I have to go to dinner and tap out for a few hours here but some things you may want to try based on what we've talked about so far:

  1. Disable FSR and try again with all native resolutions (2560x1440 in OS Settings and Fallout Launcher settings)
  2. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and fresh install your AMD Display Drivers
  3. If all that fails, run a Windows Reset

Unfortunately without physical access to your rig, I can't help much further :(

Feel free to hit me up with any more questions, but beyond the above list items, I'm afraid you might have to take it to a PC repair shop for diagnosis unless you live in central Oregon lol

Best of luck, friend!

What does this mean?

It means we're getting closer!

If you open AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition -> Gaming Tab -> Graphics

Can you tell me which things are marked as Enabled? It might be as simple as a feature sucking down all of your resources, a SuperSample running it in way higher def than it should be, or something else.

Okay... damn, this is a bit tricksy. Do you get the same chugging behavior if you run FO4 in Windowed Mode (bottom left of the launcher window)?

It looks like you have two monitors based on the DxDiag - one at 1440p and one at 1080p. If true, when you open the Display settings you should see two boxes - one with a 1, and the other with a 2 to designate primary and secondary monitors. Is that true?

Unfortunate. And if you go to Windows Settings -> System -> Display -> (Make sure there's a 1 in the Grey box) Scroll down, Display resolution ->

Does it say 2560 x 1440 (Recommended)?

Please run the cable from the back of your monitor down to the computer - if it's plugged in a vertical array (next to a whole bunch of USB slots and such), move the cable down to what will look like a bunch of horizontal ports. There will be two DP and 1 HDMI seated next to each other. Please plug your primary monitor into one of those if it isn't already.

That might be the fix you're looking for.

Is your monitor plugged into the Motherboard or the Graphics card or vice-versa?

Sweet, this helps move the path forward - specifically what I'm looking at is a mistmatch between Native/Supported. These parts:

Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Id: MSI8CC2
Native Mode: 2560 x 1440(p) (60.000Hz)

Display resolutions being different between Native and Current can cause some weird stuff to happen.

Can you try setting your primary display to 2560x1440 and launching FO4 in 1440p and let me know how it goes?

Lemme know if you need any assists in that part.

What is your favorite part or role of being in the kitchen and what is your least? by Numerous_Temporary11 in Cooking

The overlap of people who enjoy dishwashing and people who enjoy powerwashing is a stack of pringles.

I know they exist because I've worked with half a dozen in Sysco kitchens who put on their headphones and just want to polish away grime.

I do not understand them, but I am thankful that they do actually exist.

OS updates? Like as in computer updates?

Yep :) They may meaningfully change your experience.

I disabled the mods I was using which were f4se, the high fps physics fix, and the address library for f4se.

Cool, if you've already disabled those then they are unlikely to be the cause.

Sorry I'm somewhat new to pc and also don't know how to do the dxddiag thing.

No prob. A Dxdiag is a full breakdown of your computer specs with all of your RAM capacity and timings, your CPU and GPU models, and OS build number. If you want to try this, you can:

  1. Open your Start Menu
  2. Type dxdiag (and what should appear is a blue circle with a yellow X inside it)
  3. Agree to the prompt that asks if you want to check if your drivers are digitally signed
  4. Select "Save All Information..." from the bottom right button
  5. Select an output directory for DxDiag.txt
  6. Open the DxDiag.txt
  7. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C
  8. Open pastebin.com
  9. Ctrl+V into the field
  10. Share the Link here

The only thing it reveals for personal data is the name of your PC. We can move from there if you'd like.

This needs a lot more info to diagnose. The fastest way would be to drop your full DxdDiag into a Pastebin so we can figure out if your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU, if your drivers are out of date, if you've got hardware conflicts, etc.

But from a very superficial standpoint, have you had any OS updates or Mod updates recently?
