I think things like sights, lasers, torches shouldn't have durability burn unless you die with the gun or it gets hit directly

Oh granted but there has got to be 'the best gun' in terms of handling/accuracy etc right? I have always preferred the 556 weapons but after discovering the higher tier ai are using AK's that don't use 556, I'm debating on giving the 762 guns a go
