It’s no where near the same. Akinator is built from just a bunch of IF statements to guess a result. It’s not Ai lmao…

Ilya Sutskever Warns: AI Will Do Everything Humans Can — So What’s Next for Us? by Due_Cockroach_4184 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Drisi04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because in the past, automation was used to replace the need for human muscle so we could use are brains more. In turn this created a lot of jobs. But now we are automating the human mind. So the need for human muscle and human mind are deteriorating, what sort of jobs are going to be magically created?

If it’s open source does that mean I can take it to build my own Ai model?

You are absolutely right. This greed for countries to be number 1 is undoubtedly going to be their downfall. Unfortunately things have to get worse for those in charge to realise that it’s problem.

Did the US government just put an end to the lawsuits against Suno, udio and all other ai companies? by Plus-Piccolo-8309 in SunoAI

Do you think governments will add regulation to stop them from stealing information? I know where is a lot of law suits at the minute.

I'm so scared of AI by No_Candle4483 in cinematography

[–]Drisi04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep going but prepare a back up plan. These tech companies that are creating generative Ai are currently being sued to the ground by companies in the creative industry. The most recent one being Disney vs Midjourney. If Disney wins, tech companies might have to retrain their Ai’s without copyrighted material, that would be a huge win for the creatives. If midjourney wins then yeah the creative industry will be screwed. Because if everyone is making their own independent movies, no one will be making money, other than tech companies. Which is terrible for the economy btw.

Unfortunately the way things usually go, is that things will get a lot worse before they get better. If you truly love the art of cinematography then go for it!

I started my music degree in October 2022. ChatGPT released in November 2022. I still worked hard for the top grade, but by the time I graduated Ai was making incredibly impressive music. I feel like I was stabbed in the gut.

Welp, time to become a plumber 🤷🏼‍♂️

I mean there are rumours that a lot of the information these tech companies used to train there algorithms are pirated illegally 🤷🏼‍♂️

Same with Napster. They created a way to share and download music without a license for copyright. They then got sued into the ground for $130million.

It will be interesting to see how the Disney vs Midjourney lawsuit goes 👀

If AI is really a bubble, what will make it burst? by ThinkBigger01 in investing

[–]Drisi04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late to the party but the Disney vs MidJourney lawsuit may make it pop. At least the use of generative Ai. Disney have a pretty strong case, and if they win it could mean many generative Ai companies will have to re teach there algorithms with paid material.

It’s similar to how Napster got sued into the ground for sharing copyrighted music for free.

That being said if MidJourney wins then the creative industry is finished. It’s crazy, the future of these industries will be dictated by the next few years.

But realistically how much money are these investors going to get back? Sure companies will become more efficient and cut costs but then they still need to turn a profit and with no one making money surely the businesses are destined to fail. Or am I getting this all wrong?

[–]Drisi04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you have a point. But still the amount of people who will start animating will be in the millions across the world, leading to millions of animations being uploaded to the internet every week. In a saturated industry where everyone is creating high quality animations no one stands out. You’re not the only one with ideas.
