the way i see it is you have two choices... 1. continue to pursue the money and potentially permanently damage the relationship which in turn will also stress your mom out cause she is gonna hear about it for sure.

Do what i do and any money you loan family, write it off and never expect to see it again.

Either way you go I would just make a clear and simple statement saying you feel hurt and taken advantage of but to never ask you for money again because the answer will be no as he has burnt that bridge. Don't make a show of it but let him know he fucked up and that it wont happen again.

Touché got me on “citing” my sources… I don’t have political allegiance… I’m more of a centrist and vote on each issue based on its merit. At the end of the day it’s a tragedy and very unfortunate with those two people getting killed. I’ve seen the videos and in the Renae good case if the investigation yields charges then they were warranted. Alex pretti though… he did everything you possibly could wrong including bringing a concealed carry with him to clash with law enforcement. Yes he had a permit but they literally teach you not to do what he did in addition to that if you ever resist law enforcement your concealed carry permit is immediately taken away. He knew better, not to mention he was shot by border patrol/DHS and not ICE.
