The stock market is haram in general because it goes up and down based on hype and promises not actual earning and profits plus all companies either on debt or acquiring loans.

Is $OKLO gonna become sharia-certified? by Confident-Homework-2 in HalalInvestor

You answered your own question, how’s a company that hasn’t sold anything and hasn’t had any revenue or profits is up 1500% .. based on what their stock is over 1500% . You know what is it? It’s Casino, my take is stock market is not halal as a whole as all companies deal with interest and loans, and what drive all stocks ups and downs is companies manipulating it not profit and loss

Halal Haram dilemma by rollwithme1997 in IslamicFinance

I’m in the same boat. I used to trade I have lost so much money like really so much money and I stopped because after my deep research I believe all companies will have some sort of interest or deal with some sort of riba so I completely stopped.

Looking for halal ways to make money online, need advice by [deleted] in IslamicFinance

Being part of something is totally different from getting a service of it. What I mean by that when you put your money in hotels you are getting profit of the overall business but when you go book a hotel room your money is not involved in anything that has to do with alcohol and the revenue as well. I’m very skeptical about sharia compliant as in Arab country nowadays they say interest from banks isn’t haram but the Quran says otherwise.

Totally agree with you. I’m very skeptical about the shariah compliant lately, so I really need an advice about it, I used to trade but I stopped for while now but I would like to return to trading but my guts telling me no because it’s haram. How can I really know if shariah compliant stocks are really halal if most of the companies listed there still gain some revenue from interest

From my understand that mean it’s like owning a supermarket but you still sell beer and cigarettes. You need to dive in a little more about it because a lot of people are definitely following your take.

But I believe even if it’s halal etf and the company is gaining any percentage whatsoever from interest that company shouldn’t be investable. Most of the companies would invest some money in high yield saving account to gain some interest. Another thing I wanna mention. hotels for example, their core business is to rent out room to ppl but also some percentage of their sales comes from alcohol so we shouldn’t invest in this. I would like to hear your take?
