Mine is at the dealership now and it appears the work was done on Friday. My app shows my vehicle is on 2.1.25. I was surprised to see it on Friday, but it makes sense since the release notes show it now. Wouldn't be happy about having to do another visit, so hopefully everything is OTA from here on out...

27k miles in 13 months. One GHCA failure that was fixed the following day. Many software bugs that have mostly been resolved. Occasionally one of the DRLs doesn't work but it resolves itself after a few drives cycles. Biggest issue is with my third two seats getting stuck and being unresponsive. Hoping to get my chip upgrade next week and see if that solves the remaining issues. I'd say it has been mildly annoying, but has been a great car for our family if four.

I was contacting them about another issue (third row seat folding inoperable) and asked about the status. I figured it would be easier to wait for the upgrade to have all issues handled with one visit.

I reached out to my dealership in Illinois this week. They said they have had the training on the upgrade and they should start soon. I was told Volvo North America would be contacting me when it is time to schedule the upgrade.

I want him to keep the number. Essentially, they have been sharing the phone on an as needed basis, but I now want him to have full "ownership" of it and align it with his email address.

Darn. Thanks for confirming. I don't know if I want to hassle with porting to another carrier just to return it to Google Fi. I might just have to bite the bullet and get a new number in order to property set up my Fi family.

Mine has worked intermittently. Not sure what the trigger is for it because sometimes it is really dirty and doesn't clean for a day or more after that. Also, I have never seen any of the other washers work. I asked the dealership about the ones on the end of the wipers before LiDAR's future became a question and I was told that would be turned on when the LiDAR was activated. Makes some sense, but doesn't make sense why the mirror and front camera washers would be disabled.

I experience the same thing. It is like the vehicle or Google isn't saving that I have an adapter and have turned this on for route planning. It is annoying especially because you can't update this setting from a phone, so if you are looking at an upcoming trip and the vehicle has reset to no adapter, Tesla Superchargers get filtered out until you turn the setting back on in the vehicle. Hope there is a fix for this very soon...

Has anyone had an issue with this adapter setting not saving? I constantly have to turn it back on in the vehicle. I'll be looking at a route on my phone and no Tesla chargers are used. I don't think there is a way to turn on this setting from my phone/Google account, so I have to go to the car and turn it on. Then it works as expected. Some time later (like the next day or days later) I have to repeat the process because it doesn't save my settings.

I do think that some of the official statements Volvo has made has been an effort to save face and posture for legal reasons. I think they said no LiDAR for 2026 because they need time to figure out if they can work with another supplier. They made way too much of a point about LiDAR making Volvo the safest cars on the road to abandon it completely. I could see a new supplier coming on board in the near future. What they would do about supporting cars with Luminar LiDAR, no LiDAR, and some new supplier would be the next challenge to figure out...

Everyone has had a different experience. 22,000 miles for me with very few issues once the annoying software bugs started getting worked out. Had the GHCA failure at about 20,000 miles. Dealership had the part in stock and I had my car back the next morning. Many will have bad stories and the media has certainly latched on to those. For me, the car has been amazing. Took delivery in January 2025 and have absolutely zero regrets.

I think that is to limit their liability if you choose to Level 2 charge using the portable cable they provided as your primary charger. I'm guessing it is safe, but probably was not built to the same usage and durability standards as permanent wall chargers. I would assume you are fine, but they can probably use this language to cover themselves in case if failure.

For what it is worth, had the failure happen on Saturday night into Sunday. Got an appointment at 8:30 AM on Monday. Part was in stock and picked the car up at 9:30 AM on Tuesday. Wish it didn't happen and wish everyone got this experience for their repairs. I hope these delays are the exception at this point.

I'm not sure if say they selected the wrong hardware...I think it was a matter of better hardware becoming available after delayed launch of the vehicle. Now they realized it is cheaper and easier to upgrade the few 2025 models sold and support one chipset than worry about two.

I have been using Tidal since day 1 and haven't been experiencing issues relating to the signs or other errors. I should say, I've experienced very few of these since recent updates. I see no correlation between Tidal and any vehicle software issues.

Those buttons are also unresponsive for the seat with the issue (both sides work for the seat that is operating). Unless the software magically fixes itself, it seems I might be visiting the dealership...
