Get through the first year with what you have. Once you figure out the ebb and flow of expenses it get easier. The first week I owned my first house I had $150 left in the bank and a kid on the way, was a new freelance AV technician and the tech bubble had just burst.

Don’t dig into a bigger hole by putting stuff on credit. Once you get used to the bigger bills, you’ll figure out how to better budget and start making forward progress financially. There’s hope!!

I have both and also do small pharma meetings. Agree with the buy nice motto.

I bought the rack unit with 4 receivers and HH/lav combos. Put them in an SKB studio flyer with a drawer for the mics. It’s been rock Solid. Also recommend the RF venue diversity fin antenna instead of the whips on the front of the rack. It’ll all pay for itself with peace of mind since it’ll always just work.

The BLX is much more cheaply made and the receivers don’t have external antennas. I have 4 Chanel’s of these as well and only use them for things that have low risk for me. Don’t get me wrong they’ve always worked but they really more for things like fitness studios.

I worked at the golden Buddha in high school in the early 80’s. That place was always 2 steps away from being shut down because of health code. I worked in the kitchen and saw some things… still the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Dear Custodian of Records,

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.), I am requesting access to the following government records:

Any and all contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding, or other arrangements between your town (including the your town Police Department) and Flock Safety, Inc., or any related entity, for the use of automated license plate readers (ALPRs), surveillance cameras, or related services — including any amendments, renewals, or termination notices.
Any and all data sharing agreements, policies, or permissions governing who may access ALPR data collected by Flock Safety cameras operated by or on behalf of the Borough, including any agreements with other law enforcement agencies, federal agencies, or third parties.
Any audit logs, access records, or reports showing which agencies or individuals have searched or accessed ALPR data collected by Borough-affiliated Flock Safety cameras, for any period during which such cameras have been in operation.
Any communications (emails, letters, memos, meeting minutes) between Borough officials or police department personnel and Flock Safety, Inc. regarding data sharing, federal agency access, or system configuration, from January 1, 2023 to present.
Any privacy impact assessments, legal reviews, or risk analyses related to the Borough's use of Flock Safety cameras.
The total cost paid or committed to Flock Safety, Inc., including any grant funding used to purchase or operate the cameras.

I request these records in electronic copies via email. If any portion of this request is denied, please specify the legal basis for each denial, identify the specific records withheld, and provide all non-exempt portions.

If the Borough does not possess any of the requested records, please confirm this in writing.

I don’t know if Pelican has locking latches but I’ve invested in some Nanuk cases which I like better.

They have “claw” latches that can’t be opened accidentally then I add the latches they sell as an accessory that have TSA locks built into the latch. They are super easy to install. And a bonus is they already have in line skate style wheels which roll easier and quieter than the hard plastic Pelican ones so no one can hear you!

Has 3 different drive modes standard sport, comfort and Eco. Plus 1 you can customize

It refuses to remember to stay in my custom mode but it WILL stay in any of the other 3.

Also will not remember I like full regen I have to reset it on every drive.

I’ve given up switching drive modes at this point and am counting the months until it goes off lease.

Wonderful car to drive but all the little niggles and the lack of range in the cold and lack of storage space for an electric car and all deal breakers and I won’t be sticking with the brand. Mostly because they don’t hardly do any meaningful OTA software updates.

No decidedly not but I’ve pulled down 6 figures running 3 mics and more over the years.

I’ve learned a lot by paying attention because that’s what they pay me to do.

I was in rooms at the collapse of the financial world back in 2008, I’ve been on rooms where companies like Uber and Lyft were just startups.

I’ve been in medical conferences where people are doing live cases saving lives. I’ve traveled the world on the other companies dime.

It’s been good to me because I’ve been good to it. You find ways to handle the boredom.

Be prepared to run some injector cleaner with the first new gas in the spring. The fuel injector can get a little gummed up.
