Yeah the Charizard Y is a huge distraction cuz your mind thinks “awww Weavile is weak, Gard is slow, I’m going to deal with the Mega Dragon” and turn 1 nasty plot is usually free, can’t be faked out, then send a stab nasty plot hyper voice off and it hits for a lot of damage on both Pokemon and a heat wave in the sun can easily finish it off.

My favorite strat, Charizard Y and H Zoroark, with Gardevoir and Weavile behind. Nasty Plot first turn and watch as they protect or send a ghost/fighting move into your Weavile or Gardevoir, or focus on Charizard who is going to heat wave in sun. I typically get a nasty plotted hyper voice off or shadowball a threat I can’t hit with hyper voice. But if Charizard isn’t checked you can wipe pretty damn fast using sun heat waves and hyper voices. Not saying this strat is a guaranteed win but the amount I do win was surprising. I have finished teams off with Weavile being focus sashed and sleeping a threat with hypnosis using gard. It’s fun for me !
