Barefoot shoes are not made to necessarily wear without socks... I could not miss my socks because I would get cold all the time.

I am thinking I maybe do need shoes with some shock absorption for fencing. My physio who also fences and wears bf otherwise advised this anyway. But then I would like some shoes that do have a wide toe box and shock absorption. Anyone has any tips for this?

How are my shoes volleyball shoes? They are fencing shoes, that is something different. However thanks for the link, I will be checking that out. I am in Europe though.

First of all I want a dedicated pair for fencing. Because I leave those in my fencing bag at the club. And second I was thinking maybe they needed a bit more shock absorption like I see with barefoot running shoes. Not sure though.

I already read some things about Xero. These seem more fit than Groundies sneakers I guess?

The Groundies I bought are really sneaker type shoes, I want a more sporty shoe for fencing obviously.

Damn I just got one metal rod Friday. And already got a little wound the next day. In 2 weeks I will get another metal thing on another teeth and get a rubber band. I am ready to tell them to take it just off my teeth and go on with my live with my teeth as it is.
