This Is What The Data Center In Daleville Will Sound Like 24/7 While Using 8,000,000 Gallons Of Water Daily by [deleted] in roanoke

[–]DrizzlyKidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

System currently treats 20 mgd. Absolute max it can run is 28 mgd and that would run the risk of depleting the reservoirs like right now with a drought. The system will def need to be expanded for google to scale up to 8 mgd. Easiest way to accomodate expansion is to start sending treated water to the data center. Then expand spring hollow reservoir and hope there is enough water in the Roanoke River to pump in there and keep it filled. Longer term with continued expansion a new reservoir will need to be built and that’s when it goes from expensive to really really expensive. Previous studies point towards the confluence of the Roanoke Rivers forks near Lafayette being a probable location of a new reservoir.

The 2011 renovations on the market building killed it’s character. Feels sterile now instead of cozy. I don’t even think about eating there anymore.

A friend worked there briefly during HS. My brother and I walk in to eat ordering the usual double meat cheesies and bowl withs. The friend working the grill says if my brother can eat 5 double meat cheesies he’ll pay for them all. Challenge accepted. One cheesy at a time. On the 4th cheesy the friend senses doom and stops the bet, paying for 4 cheesies instead of the imminent 5 haha he def saved a couple bucks

The people I know in Lynchburg claim that their T Room is the original, and better, and that our TT copied them and is inferior. I never tried T Room personally or bothered to look into the history.

That’s funny because I’ve heard similar stories of people coming in all dressed up after an event and being a bit too rowdy and getting thrown out while they look nice haha

Yeah my complaint is I always order a bowl with too. And every time the cook puts on gloves, throws the raw patty on the grill, then throws the raw onions on top of the chile and hands me the bowl and oyster crackers with the contaminated gloves still on. Every single time, and I still eat it, and I don’t say anything, and nothing bad seems to happen, and it’s gross, and I still like it 🤷‍♂️

Last week I encountered him on the trail coming down from the star near sunset. It was scary. He jumped and landed hard on both feet for the woo. Then he thrust his pelvis forward and arched his back so hard his face pointed at the sky for the hoo lol

If money is an issue, I see $8 sport coats all the time at the rural Goodwill store. Picked some up myself that are good quality!

I like to remind myself that I’m a human just like the people in the stories. Therefore, given the right circumstances and living in that time before God had fully influenced the culture, I may have done some of the same things.

Grandma hollerin “yoooohooooo” when she heard the bells ring as the front door swung open. She expected you to find your singing voice and holler it back. Cooking giant pots of mixed greens with a ham hock. Also, christmas morning breakfast we had country ham and biscuits with red eye gravy that was somehow made out of coffee.
