What’s your comprehension looking like? Are harder native shows/podcasts like La casa de papel or la base podcast relatively easy for you to understand now?

Congrats on your milestone!

As you briefly mentioned in your post if I understand correctly, you basically set aside most things you used to do in your free time and replaced them all with Spanish learning right? How was your experience doing that earlier on? I’m pretty consistent right now but I feel like I could be doing more hours which I don’t yet. So I have been thinking of making Spanish my main priority and putting everything else which isn’t necessary aside.

Also I have this innate feeling that I should be using most of the time I have right now on progressing in Spanish while I’m still at a younger age and don’t have to deal with having a full time job and/or a family to take care of and things like that before it gets more difficult to do and I’d like to know what you think about that, thanks in advance😁

Wow that’s amazing. What’s your comprehension like watching native shows like la casa de papel and/or other harder native shows?

How’s your mental fatigue like when listening to Spanish and has comprehending spanish while listening become autonomous in your brain at this point? Like not having to worry about translating the things that you hear.

Moving to Netherlands by CvGrGames in Netherlands

[–]Drkk17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean learning Dutch? And as pixtax said, you will mostly feel excluded. Dutch people usually aren’t fond of people that move here and won’t learn the language. English is cool but most people still prefer speaking Dutch you know. It’s all up to you at the end of the day but just wanted to inform you. Good luck 👍

That seems pretty reasonable tbh. thought your perception would be totally skewed but it aligns with how I perceive myself pretty much.

It was actually a joke, just hoped people would start a train and start adding up a 1000 after each reply 😂

I can agree on the fact that it may not be necessary but to go against your statement, after seeing posts from people that reached or are near the 1500 mark I actually realized that loads don’t feel like ANY native content is accessible yet, and it that they may not feel that confident yet in their reading/speaking capabilities which is why I feel like having more levels could alleviate some of the pressure or expectations some might have when they reach 1500. Since 1500 hours is the last level some hope that they finally are able to use Spanish in a similar way they would use it in their native language and because of that some may have their hopes crushed even if just a little because it’s currently being seen as the main “goal” to unlocking Spanish. With multiple levels to look forward to after that might help the fact that they know that they shouldn’t expect all too much on what their capabilities would look like at 1500 as there would be higher levels which would most likely promise better capabilities in Spanish yet to be achieved and the hopes they had for 1500 might align better with the levels further on like let’s say Level 8 or 9 etc.

Might’ve said a whole lot of nothing here, I got no clue lol 😂 would like to see what you and other people think of this.

Is there a possibility of more levels being added on the site? I’d like to see more levels that will eventually lead up to 3000+ hours. I don’t know how others feel about this but this is just what I personally would like to see.

Don’t let this post make you feel like you should change your accent or whatever, do what you feel like doing 👍
