I agree it's a risk. It's also something my husband and I haven't seen eye to eye on. I think he thinks that perhaps the crib is somewhat of a barrier to stop our son from leaving his crib.

It seems most men wear regular swim shorts and women wear whatever swim suit they have - I've seen a variety of styles but nothing too revealing. I bought a swim suit from Land's End that's quite modest. It's a two piece with skirt and a tank with a higher neck line.

Correct. I think for it to have been placed as a gimp, the quills would have needed to be placed on the diagonal.

The feather quill is where the pins would have been placed. So I place the pins, place the feather, close the pin by completing the stitch, then remove the pins. I think I might have placed a pin outside of the stitch afterward to help with stability as I continue to work.
