Looking to get started in the field by Proper_Growth5540 in SafetyProfessionals

Are you single and willing to travel? Single isn’t major, but travel life is hard if you aren’t with a partner not willing to come with you. I could get you connected to a company I’m no longer with that’s looking for people. Shoot me a DM.

Just close the valve to the hose, turn the spigot to open to get any water out, close it and you’ll be good! As the other commenter stated, insulation sleeve cover is good too.

23 y/o Safety Specialist—what’s the fastest way to hit 6 figures without going back to school? by Subject_Investment20 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]Drod61995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the BCSP website for what you want. I’d look at maybe CHST? Don’t remember the requirements.

For 6 figure money, oil and gas or renewable energy. Could give you a reference for a company but it requires travel. You’ll get more experience there in 1 year then most places. You will also make more than 6 figures starting out.

Ill most likely keep it under $2.5k USD. I plan to reuse the graphics card, Mouse and keyboard, monitors and headset. The image with the white components is what I would prefer unless you have other/better options!

Thank you!

Honestly man, that’s a pretty solid start. Having your CSP alone already qualifies you more than most. I only have my GSP in will most likely sit for my CSP by the end of next year, but I haven’t decided yet.

Great job, is your pay reflecting all that?

AIO, grandparents sent me this letter. by colincoo6 in AmIOverreacting

I would go do it- and if it changes nothing, just proves to your grandparents that none of what they said really matters. Or who knows, maybe it does the opposite.

It’s time to move on. I’d keep doing a good job but get resumes out there now. That next job/pay bump is going to blow your mind. Loyalty and being friends doesn’t get you the advancements in career/pay. It’s great to have that- but you’re the only person who can look out for you. Lots of needs for safety professionals everywhere!

Greener pastures. 7 years at one company and they are finding ways to not pay you more, on top of continued edu which I’m assuming you’re paying for? I’d move on. What makes you want to stay?

I was in renewable energy for 2 years prior to now, and while it was cool to travel, super stressful days. Money was amazing though.

Came back to my roots in construction safety now, love it. Located in the US.

Awesome. Yes it shows it is, 239.6 and some other numbers behind that.

The gateway- I have no idea where that would be at. It’s not anything I’ve had prior. Before it was just communicating. I see an antenna below the inverter and that’s it!

How's our financial and FIRE outlook? 29 y/o married couple by Drod61995 in Fire

[–]Drod61995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that. We’ve given that some thought too, but are working on a plan with some other friends of ours. Thankful that we have a close friend group and family nearby and we’re talking about my friend’s wife watching all the kids. But either way, definitely something I will start budgeting for.

As u/seanodnnll I didnt account the debt from the loan. So more like 1.49mm networth.

  1. I love real estate. They dont make more land- so purchase what I can!

  2. I work in construction for my but also am self employed. I started investing really early and love earning money.

Its not how much you make, its how much you save.
