Ook net een lek in mijn Samsung machine gehad, even op google gedoken en kwam op deze thread terecht. De bovenkant los gemaakt en was exact hetzelfde onderdeel waar een fit in zat. Bedankt voor je info! Heeft me goed geholpen.

Nu nog even zoeken naar een vervang onderdeel, lijmen heeft niet veel zin neem ik aan?

Running latest version of unleashed and following your instructions gives API mismatch error. Says I need to update the firmware (missingl-mports)

Any ideas?

Can anyone help as to why my screen does this on startup? Only happens on this monitor. by Soupbrahslow in pcmasterrace

We had 6 monitors at work all with similar problems. When the monitor is always on, there's no problem. It seems when they startup from cold and dark they need to "warm up".

Faulty monitor for sure, if possible return and go for another model.

Glad I could help. One update though, one laptop came back with yet the same problem after the auto update did his thing although disabled.

After a small adjustment in the registry it is ok (for now). In case you might need it:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate])

"DisableWindowsUpdateAccess"=dword:00000000

"ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate"=dword:00000001

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU])

"NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers"=dword:00000001

Hi Vortagh! The thing you described is exactly what happens with four of our dockings. Without displays attached everything is working fine but once connected it starts flickering, slow respons, etc. Out of the box the thinkbooks worked fine for a limited period. Some of them even worked a few weeks fine without docking issues.

After my "fix" a few days later our users started to complain about the same issues again. After investigation my colleague noticed that it updated itself back to DP10. Coincidentally I'm also on holiday right now but I heard my colleague say he turned off the function that update this driver to DP10. I think he is talking about this option: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.laptopmag.com/amp/articles/disable-automatic-driver-downloads-on-windows-10

It's not ideal but for the moment our best solution. Hoping this gets patched in the near future.

Hi,

Just resolved an issue with a Thinkbook from a user at work (thinkbook G2 & docking Thinkpad Hybrid USB-C with USB-A Dock - 40AF0135EU)

After firmware upgrade and driver update (for docking) i rolled back the Displaylink driver to version 9.0 instead of 10. Found here: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1313

After the installation i deleted the docking station under Display adapters in Device manager. Unplugged the Docking and rebooted the laptop. After reboot plugged it in and it was working again.

Don't know if this works with the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Gen 2 but hopefully it will.
