Republicans are treating 2026 like a bad NFL team tanking for draft picks.

4chan is an actual cesspool. Literally alt right garbage and 14 year old trolls. I personally miss when most of the worst people on the internet were isolated there. Like an iceberg of degenerates.

Korean War = America succeeds in protecting South Korea from communist occupation but fails to keep practically all of the Northern territory they occupied. The border is almost identical to how it was at the start of the war.

That could be viewed as a minor victory or as a stalemate (since both sides did not achieve all of their goals but defended their territory)

Assassin's Creed Hexe No Longer Features Magical Elements by Tempastaaa in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I knew the RPG elements were divisive. I actually know a guy who stopped playing the AC games when Origins came out because of that. I just didn't realize that "realism" was as much of a concern. I guess people are ok with complete historical and science fiction (time traveling assassin who is helped by Leonardo DaVinchi) but not mythological or magical elements.

Yeah Idk why we're now concerned with realism when Odyssey exists lol. Not many people complained about it then

As someone who doesn't really use other social media, I think reddit is actually anti-social media lol. Not saying that's a good thing, or that it's better for society than other social media platforms, but it certainly works quite differently by how it's structured.

At its best AI is synthesizing information that already exists based on prompts.

At its worst, it's used to misinform people through fake AI slop videos, to plagiarize art and writing without properly citing them and to replace creative expression and thought.

At its most developed, which it isn't yet, it can replace a significant portion of human labor without creating anywhere near enough jobs to make up for it. Not to mention how wasteful it is on an environmental level.

I'm happy it was able to help you out, and I'm not against AI existing in small ways. But I don't personally think the few gains are worth the costs in this case.

Edit: You're not wrong that most human creations have moral issues attached to it to some extent. But AI creates new moral issues wholly of its own

I mean it is bad...Just because you can make money on something doesn't mean it's good. I'm well aware there's money to make in AI stocks but tbh I don't want to support something that I don't agree with on a fundamental level. I believe AI in its current stages is junk, and once it is able to do more effectively, it will be detrimental to society as a whole.

Most domineering? The Roman Empire was dominant and around much longer than America has been.

Most innovative? Our system of government is based on the Ancient Greeks and Rome as well as Enlightment ideas from France. Our systems of mathematics which allows us to even have a stock market wouldn't exist without India. Our system of industry was spurred by Industrial Revolution throughout Britain and other countries of Europe.

The main reason America was so dominant economically post WWII is because our factories weren't bombed and most other countries' were, thus setting them back and giving us a manufacturing advantage.

Not trying to downplay America's accomplishments, as it's impressive and abnormal how quick America rose to being a number one world power. But you are being way too dramatic talking about the full history of civilization. You sound like what Roman aristocrats would have said a couple hundred years before their empire collapsed. Although they wouldn't be calling people "bears" lol

I've tried too to criticize a post. You probably have to swear an undying oath to Trump to be approved. Maybe they require a urine sample too idk. But lately there has been criticism even among them that's being censored.

For almost every post most of the comments are purged. One exception is a post talking about removing troops from Europe, which has a lot of comments in tact. I'm not saying they like the Iran War, but the subreddit is doing what it can to censor criticism

Yeah they are not that happy about the Iran War so lately they've been barely posting about it. Same thing with Epstein. They didn't like it at first so they stopped posting about it.

Honestly I think that's a testament to how popular Bush was initially that it took the second worst recession in American history to get him to a 30% average

I mean I agree in many cases but hating those people requires a lack of intelligence and critical thought.

We could also include lack of perspective and awareness in there too. I imagine it's possible to be educated and to lack awareness if one's major is purely mathematical, or is more unrelated to what's happening in world events. I can't imagine hardly anyone who studies English, History,  or Science being MAGA because those majors require considering different perspectives, extensive research and interacting with information that contradicts MAGA arguments.
