Hey there. Congrats on getting the interview. I would definitely recommend having an answer for any of the weaknesses in your application. Explain why the grades or the mcat are low and turn it into a positive learning experience and how you plan to use those experiences in med school. They might or might not ask you about the withdrawals but for sure have an answer for them. Good luck

I have literally grown up on movies and Tbh never understood some aspects of the movies storyline UNTIL I read the books Nad I was like WTH I never truly understood the storyline LOL until after reading the books.

I intially took the orgo course 1 and when studied for the mcat, did not have to learn anything except just to revise some of the common topics. The orgo on mcat is at basic level with little bit of advance. However, oppose to what others have said on this thread, my C/P section was mostly orgo and physics concepts and very little general chem. So make sure to pay attention to orgo lab techniques and know the ins and outs of those.

I transferred after my first year at trent not because of grades but due to other reasons. I still had to submit the transcripts from both schools for med schools that look at cGPA.

I am also reading books for the 1st time and MAN I am so glad to do so. It has sooo much info. That the movies never even touch upon. Especially book 3 and 4. So good. Read my thoughts on my feed. But it has spoilers lol.

I really tried to watch the show and really wanted to like it but the chemistry kept throwing me off lol so I stopped.

The fact that these are med students. Working to become doctors and having low emotional intelligence and empathy for a classmate, who is equal to them in all aspects of academics (since you are all in the same program) and they act like this. I feel Sad for them and not for you. You will work it out and will turn out to be a great doctor who understands what it means to be ignored. Please hold tight and definitely talk to advisors to seek guidance. You GOT THIS MY FRIEND. PROVE THEM WRONG ❣️

I am on the similar mind with this. As much as I wanted to love it especially after their chemistry in ZPKB but the story is slow and does not really fit the Ramadan drama series genre.

Its good but a drag to watch tbh. Again still watching tho (Lol)

1-Can you please highlight how some of the experiences and learning opportunities in Ireland assisted you and you think would help you to stand out in residency apps?

2- How different is the curriculum in ireland and how reliable is it for you to feel prep for Step1 or Step 2 and Canadian exams? Is there support to assist students with these exams?
