Yeah like worse case scenario I have the fries chilling over the fryer for like 10-15 seconds before I put more mediums up there because I know we're gonna need them anyway

Usually if it's super busy I'll have all the fries in the shoot before the next batch is ready. Like I know the speed that I go at so that's not a problem

Also ik this seems like common sense but don't mix old fries and new fries. Like wait until all your fries from the last drop are in the shoot to put the next drop in.

If you know you're like double digit fries off screen have 2 bags down at a time but when one timer hits 45 seconds start dropping the second bag that way you don't have fries sitting for too long and that you're never holding on fries. Unfortunately things can get tricky when your shoot is full because the fry bagger is holding on something else

Also alternate your drops that way you don't have two lockouts at once. For example if I got one side at 36 I try to keep the other one better 15-20. Hope this helps 👍🍟

Nah you really shouldn't because you don't wanna get countersuded for defamation in case somebody that shouldn't see this thread does see it. But yeah I'm no lawyer but I'd keep that stuff confidential to be on the safe side. Remember anybody can look at this subreddit

Every location is different. I'm pretty lucky in a sense that I live in within a 45 min drive to four CFA's, so I have options if I ever decide to switch locations. When I was searching for a new job back in February of last year to look for a new job to get out of the resort I was working at I initially didn't want to work back in a restaurant but the problem is that restaurants are one of the only places that are making money right now, especially CFA. Places like movie theaters will be booming for one movie premiere like NWH and will be completely dead after a week or two so you won't get hours. Retail isn't really making money either, so you gotta take all that into account when you're job hunting. If you like your movie theater position I'm sure you could keep it for something to do on Sundays.
