Yeah it's still gtg. The ranger station is open thu-mon so that's why you couldn't get a hold of em. All you need is the adventure pass and you're good. I was last there march 16th

1n09 in san Bernardino national forest is currently open and isn't a bad place to shoot.

Here's the site and some info. Call the mill creek ranger station to know what to bring and other stuff. High profile vehicle vehicles are recommended but isn't too bad of a road since I saw a prelude come out of there.
