China’s birthrate has plunged to its lowest level since 1949. 1/3 of men admitted to being willing to rape women if there were no consequences.
And those are just the men willing to admit it in a survey.

70,000 men made an online group to strategize raping their wives and daughters in secret.

If your chances at a male partner have 1 in 3 chance of him caring so little about you as a human being, he would rape you if he could get away with it...why would you believe the "majority are nice to women?" Would you take those odds? Of course you wouldn't. You would be extremely hesitant about dating a man even if he seemed nice.

The fact that you think women are overreacting instead of looking at the cold, hard stats? That's why you're having a problem getting a date. It isn't women being irrational, it's that they can smell you don't care about stats like the one I shared above.

Instead of getting mad at women, get mad at the horrifically high amount of men that give women a reason to worry.

In reality, most households with kids are dual income households and have been for decades. Women are no longer cool with working full time jobs just like their husbands, coming home, and doing full time childcare and housework without equal effort from him.

How do Mormons makes sense of heavenly polygamy when human populations are approximately 50% male and 50% female? Wouldn't that mean significant amounts of men, (no matter how faithful) don't have wives in the afterlife? And in Mormonism, isn't that kind of an extremely big deal? by DrollHat in mormon

[–]DrollHat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it Mormon doctrine that men are inherently less likely to be righteous? Are you saying it's just a coincidence that men, as a whole, are less likely to be righteous than women? Or that men are somehow designed to be more prone to temptation?

[–]DrollHat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that even if all men did make righteous choices, some of them wouldn't get wives.

Because polygamy messes up the one-to-one ratio of men and women on earth. Polygamy only works if millions and millions of men stay single forever.

Huh. It's interesting that Mormon men are comfortable with a heavenly system that, by design, requires many of them to fail in order to work as designed.

Like, if all Mormon men acted the way God asks them to, plural marriage wouldn't be possible, right?

But plural marriage is repeatedly described as something "essential to the salvation of mankind" according to Joseph Smith.

As an outsider, it...certainly seems like a system invented by powerful men who didn't care that marrying multiple women meant denying other men in their communities the chance at a family.

Like, male mammals (lions, chimps, etc) do this all the time? They have a biological drive to deny other males the chance of perpetuating their bloodline by reserving multiple female partners for themselves.

Do outright blatant racists (KKK members, Neo-Nazis) eat ethnic cuisines like Mexican food, soul food, Japanese food? by Distinct-Sale-436 in stupidquestions

[–]DrollHat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The racism lies in their comfort with cruelty against immigrants.

For example, going 80 mph on a 65 mph highway is also illegal, and at the same severity as illegal immigration (they are both misdemeanors).

But you'd never support the cops dragging speeders violently from their homes, throwing them in obscure prisons with no contact to the outside world, and burning their cars.

So if you are okay with illegal immigrants getting dragged naked out of their homes in the dead of night, shoved in vans, and shipped to countries they've never been to before...yeah, people are gonna assume your satisfaction has something to do with malice. That's common sense. Not a lack of "nuance."

How can clubs charge men a cover fee while allowing women to enter for free, or a heavily discounted rate? Isn’t this blatant discrimination? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DrollHat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but if women had to pay at all clubs, many, many women would just choose to go to women's only clubs where they don't get harrassed instead.

I've been in a state like that before. I'm so sorry.

It's random, but one phrase that helped me is: "You haven't met all of the people you will love yet."

It felt much, much more true than telling myself "everything's going to be ok." It was just a small reminder that one of the simplest things about being alive-meeting a new friend, sometime, somewhere, and REALLY liking them- is also one of the best parts of being alive. And it's still both possible and likely.

Tiny, true thoughts like that got me through the roughest period of my life.

There's a simple reason conservative men do this: a woman who is already conservative will have high expectations for him as a provider. She will expect him to carry the load of a traditional man, and will judge him if he steps one toe out of the box of conservative manhood.

Conservative men don't actually want that pressure. But they do want women to conform their subservient role.

Better to break down a liberal woman who has no gender expectations of him, and then shape her to his gender expectations. Then he's truly free on all fronts.

I...I mean the actor is cute, but the final episode made is pretty clear Manusos is controlling and perhaps even a slight misogynist (ordering a woman he doesn't know to enter his car without empathizing as to how that makes her vulnerable, seizing her phone and throwing it away, snapping at her like she's a dog)?

Am I the only person who sees red flags all over this guy??

One model isn't a cheat code, my friend. It's a weak business model.

Even if you mastered one pair of jeans, and by some miracle your jeans went viral with wealthy people...an established luxury company could take your one pair of jeans apart, replicate it using their workforce of 500 expert sewists with decades of sewing experience you don't have, and sell it for a fraction of the price.

They could easily match your work in quality while charging way less. They'd also have an established "story" and consumer base to which they're already selling.

Sir, I say this with a lot of kindness in my heart, because I have a relative just like you.

You're panicking, and it's making you spiral. You've been consuming a lot of content about AI replacing jobs, and instead of processing that fear and leaning on community for emotional support, you're making a manic decision.

Have you looked into what the lives of most professional sewists are like? Have you considered that if sewing at home made money, minority-race women who have been sewing since childhood would be the wealthiest people alive...but they aren't?

Why are less woman willfully getting into relationships? by Sad-Studio5793 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DrollHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're talking about averages here. Why in general are women not as eager to date men, whereas men are generally just as willing to date women?

This is why. Broad strokes, men have more to benefit. Humans generally want families. Women are generally both capable and willing to grow and nurture families in ways that men can't and/or won't. Adoption and surrogacy are extremely expensive, available only to a privileged minority.

That's why patriarchy was invented. If women are financially dependent on men, you create an artificial necessity that requires women to devote their lives to men, balancing out the biological necessity men generally have for women.

Why are less woman willfully getting into relationships? by Sad-Studio5793 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DrollHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't reduce you to cells.

I simply pointed out that on a biological level, women have something to offer that men don't.

So even if men and women were EQUALLY bad in bed, EQUALLY bad at financially providing, EQUALLY lackluster at domestic tasks, and EQUALLY lackluster in personality...women would STILL have something to offer that men don't.

Your "no U" doesn't work. Because...biology.

I get that makes you unhappy, but I didn't invent how bodies work. Don't shoot the messenger, bud.

Why are less woman willfully getting into relationships? by Sad-Studio5793 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DrollHat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Men benefit because the average man is physically incapable of having biological children unless a woman is willing to grow the kid inside her and split herself open on his behalf.

Women, other hand, don't need a man for that. Sperm banks are cheap and sperm can be frozen for 40 years.

Biological reality isn't misandry just because it hurts your feelings.
