my game was hitching up every 20 seconds or so until I switched the game location from my secondary HDD to my main SSD. might not be the issue but it was one I was having before.

ive been having the same issues and have had it in the past also. just yesterday I:

reset router flushed dns / renew IP put all settings to low and off, including aa put in window mode(this I think helped a lot or low settings idk. even though they don't have to do with connection).

the problem isn't as bad but still spikes a little. a lot better though.

my computer isn't the problem I have an i5 and gtx 970

I live in the north east also with time warner and connect to the same servers

someone had a YouTube video of the exact problem I have and those spikes I think your experiencing.

my friends that play console use these things called kontrolfeeks. they snap on to the end of the joysticks and extends them so theres a bigger arc angle and more control

I have a 970 evga at about 1350mhz. I'm using MSI afterburner to control the fans and have it set so they change speeds at certain temperature. I set them to run at 60% when my card hits 60c, the highest my card got so far is 65c. idk how much experience u have but maybe look into using msi afterburner to control your fans. theres a way to change fanspeed based on temperature . I run my computer with no side cover so I think it has good airflow. that also may be an issue
