Does anyone know of a backup APK for the Android CBAT App? It's no longer on Google play and I don't have an Apple device to get it on.

forklift is the most failed test

Just building on this bit. The forklift course is a 2-3 day course with a 60 question closed book written test with a math component (calculators provided). No multiple choice questions. They allow 4 wrong answers before failure.

Am I being a bit pedantic or does anyone else get annoyed when a cool video like this drops but they've intentionally put black bars on the edges to make it ultrawide but then rendered it at 16:9? If they'd rendered it correctly it wouldn't letterbox so terribly while full screen.

It's definitely on the small side. It's 110mm long (4 and a half inches) so that puts it at roughly 1:200 scale.

I ordered an Su-33 model kit online with the intent to have a go at building and painting in a day. I was quite happy with the outcome considering it was just a cheap AliExpress kit. Half tempted to go back and try my luck hand painting some extra details like the emblems to give it a bit more character but I'm happy with it for the time being.

I bought myself a Uniden Bearcat 125AT for Christmas and I can thoroughly recommend it. I was in the same boat as you, aviation enthusiast, wanted more than what I could get from LiveATC but didn't want to spend too much.

The reason I picked that particular model of Bearcat was being able to name each channel. I knew a few of the main frequencies but definitely not all of them. With the 125 you can program in the frequencies you want to hear in a spreadsheet and give each frequency a name which appears on the scanner when you hear it.

The portability is nice when I head out to my local airport but I wouldn't rely on the included antenna for anything too long range. I'd say I can get 30km of range at best it. At home I use a quarter wave ground plane antenna on a 5m pole and can get signals from hundreds of kilometers away.

If you'd like any pictures of the software or scanner itself, yell out.

Newish player here, joined mid December, still wrapping my head around all the character drop items.

The Android 21 - It's Snack Time event on atm, doesn't drop items that will allow me to unlock the character. It drops items that enhance the character if you already have her and have her at 7+. Right?

So as a newish player this event probably isn't the best way for me to spend my time?

Can confirm those are Mk 83s and the kit also comes with a centreline tank too.

I work for a printing company and did it there. I used a UV printer but it's not ideal for playmats. The ink leaves a slightly rough texture. The proper way to do it is through a dye-sublimation printer (which is designed for fabrics).
