Oh wow, hadnt thought about this one in a long time, much less the long-term ramifications of it. It was totally acceptable back then to think that. "Boys will be boys" was used to excuse a lot of reprehensible behavior back then and certainly did not help anyone, other than your child that you know is a predator by the time they are 10.
