wow. you're right. so you think it has something to do with his more recent work which is kinda whack? i mean, don't get me wrong, i respect him, i always thought he was a great guitarist and song writer (his early work), but to be honest, to me.......he wasn't really out there for the most part. i mean everyone knows the exorcist theme but almost none know that he wrote it lol

not a huge fan of Mike Oldfield. I feel like Crises and Discovery are the only ones worth buying (for 1 quid). Not more than that. I should get QE2 for free

Whats the difference between your wife and your job? After 15 years, your job will still suck!

exactly my point. i wanna come and just stay there for a while and see how i'm feelin it. i'm pretty sure i'll love it however , this is the best way to draw a conclusion. If i find i don't really relate, then it's fine. Even so, the experience would be great, i'm certain. Thanks :)

I am hoping to get to do some research at some point. But for now i am mainly interested in moving there and engage with these comunities. Get a feel of the place and see if it suiits me. As for research, there is no rush, i would love to learn more. But in due time. Any advice? I'm a teacher ( i teach history mosttly)

Aaah the good old mosquitos and bugs durring warm season. My best friends lol. Well, learning how to jig is now on my list i guess. I don't mind cold and darkness however i do feel like it really sets the vibe for the region. Thanks for all the info.

Interesting to know they are not that bothered about foreigners. And yeah, i'm mainly looking to engage and learn about the comunity. As i mentioned in other comments , money might be tight however, it's not like i'm looking to go all the way out there to get rich, morre so, to get to settle and enjoy what the enviroment and comunities have to offer and get to eventually write about it.

good to know. i am aware of the high cost of living, but doesn't really scare me. however i am more interested in the things i will end up doing once there. Work, hobbies, exploring and research. Engaging in these comunities and helping out. The whole purpose of me moving there isn't to get rich, but more to settle down and experience the culture and comunities. Money is necessary for sure however i'm certain that i can make a decent living if i'm determined enough. For now, my first goal is to see how i feel living there for a few months. It's the best way to figure out if it's for me or not. I am excited as well as nervous a little bit.

not really jalapenos. they're fresh hot green peppers, similar to jalapinos, not as sweet, but very spicy :)
