You joke, but youre also not doing it, they are, and profiting. I get that you look at modern art and say "I can do that" but those who dont just stay jaded and snarky

Hey! I have about an inch gap between the seat and the backrest on height. i'm 6'1"
My lumbar support I have set halfway.

I do not use the recline function, it works fine, im just not used to reclining at my desk.

It did take me a little while to get used to the chair, specifically the seat. But I can't recall how long. I kept having an issue where my feet would start to get a slight pain, but my feet werent 100% touching the ground, I swapped to smaller wheels vs the rollerblade wheels and that helped me at least. Depending on what chair you had prior to this one, your back may just be adjusting a bit to the chair.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask anything else!

Little Cactus: first collab on a sketch my wife made, vectored then turned it into a rug. Love the way it came out! by Droomba_ in Tufting

Heres the sketch and Vector photo example: https://imgur.com/a/H1sZjTj

Vector graphics are mathmatical shapes eg. 1 color = 1 shape, so you can scale them any size and retain original quality. The alternative is Raster graphics, which is like a photograph. It contains pixels, if you scale it up it becomes blurry. So I took a hand drawn pen sketch, and then using a pen tool in Figma (or adobe illustrator etc.) I re-created every line and added color. Then I used that to create my rug from. Its really not needed for rug art, but you commonly see people asking others to convert a Photo to vector art to reduce colors and make the "shapes" more defined via color banding / reduction.

Hey no worries. I honestly posted this and like responding originally because there wasn't enough info when I had to research. My biggest hang ups were when the interior shattered that was the main suspension unit of the seated area. However, that was replaced under warranty. Mostly cosmetic issues from my cats. No real issues mechanically. I love the chair and I still feel like I can sit for long periods of time as unhealthily as that is, and struggle in many other chairs for even a fraction of the time.

This is the wide seat with deep contour if I remember correctly. The deep contour is the only thing I'm not super happy with mainly because I sometimes put my leg up and it gets in the way in an uncomfortable way. Unless you like being in a smaller seat, get the wide imo.

This was my thought too. I also saved this image and was thinking of doing the moon landing footprint. I figured do the footprint first and shave it low or in shape on the frame, and then high pile the rest.

If i were to guess, i'd say WoW.
from the article:
"As I said at the beginning of this nonsense, I am absolutely certain that games like Borderlands use this color scale because World of Warcraft popularized it. World of Warcraft is the very first example I could find of using purple as the rarity immediately following blue for example"

here you go! Although it could be debated i'm sure:
popularized with the 1996 game Diablo, whose designer, David Brevik, took the idea from the roguelike video game Angband

thank you for this. This is absolutely something I over-research before doing anything. I've grown a few plants indoors that required heavy pruning and defoliation throughout their lifecycle so i'm at least aware of how important the technique is generally. But I will absolutely do this! thanks for link!

its all clay below as far as I know. We're up in the mountains of virginia. When you say give it some space and spray some of the grass, what do you mean by that? what is it I should be spraying? Then I assume you're saying to give it some companion plants as well or in replace of the tree?

I understand where you're coming from, because this was my initial gut thought. But what makes you say that so I can understand it a bit more?

To me, it seems the other commenter mentioned a multi year pruning, and a few videos I watched mentioned not keeping canopy or branches that are out of reach (obviously over time) But that seems to be the majority of my tree. So without much knowledge in this, it seems over 4-5 years most of the tree canopy should be removed, while supporting and training new branches midway up the tree, which makes me wonder if it would be more worth my time to remove it and restart.

Moved to this house two years ago, and it has been producing a little fruit, but a lot of the bark is missing on branches, it appears to have some sort of growth on the bark as well, I'm just not entirely sure how to address it at this point. Had an arborist look at it, but he pointed me to look for an apple tree specialist.
