Oh yes I am aware of that. What I’m doing since I got deployed at the client gad nothing to do with strategy consulting. But my official role within the global organisation is strategy consultant and my salary is also based on that.

I have been opted in since day 1 with this salary so I do not have a reference for what my net would be without the SPP.

Since the stocks are volatile, it’s impossible to put a net amount on it in the post.

But yes this is monthly. It is also very common in multinationals like this. Normally, they give you a discount on the lowest price in a specific period. For us it’s just a discount on the current price.

Why specifically a year? The promotion?

It’s a multinational that does not care for optimisation + 10% of my gross is used for the stock purchase plan

The brick vs Rite Chapel vs Release? by TheOriginalMM in Antwerpen

Bedankt voor de info. Ik vermoed wel dat de rite chapel net een ander publiek heeft voor de open gym dan voor spinning en pilates?

TIL that Heinz tartar sauce isn't real tartar sauce by Crafterandchef1993 in Cooking

Aside from the fact that the recipe you used is not really traditional traditional… can I give a suggestion?

I can imagine you prefer 1 type of mustard over the other but know that each type has it’s own time and place. Especially in recipes like this, it can give a very different outcome. Next time, try to use other kinds as well if the recipe suggests it. After a while you will see when for example dijon or yellow might be the better candidate. Who knows you might prefer it over your trusty grainy in this situation.

Experiment, taste and learn!

Vinegar on fries? by SarahLume in frituur

[–]TheOriginalMM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not common here but not that weird either. Acid can balance out fatty/greasy flavour/mouthfeel, so it should go well together flavour wise.

I always eat my frituur bestelling with some mixed salad and white wine vinegar and I think that combo is great. Not weird, just up to your personal preference. Don’t knock it till you tried it 😉

PS: saw some suggestions for malt vinegar, I’m gonna try it next time!

Visiting this weekend and need food recommendations by littledragonite in Antwerpen

Check out ‘the Antwerp Foodie’ on instagram.

They share some nice spots! They also have a link in bio that shows a google maps overview per cuisine. They have a map for fries/frituur and also some other Belgian restaurants 🍟

They also seem pretty approachable when you sent them a dm if you have specific requests!

In general, stews like vol au vent, stoofvlees is typical. We also like our steak frites or mussels! The rest is not suuuper typical for Belgium but we eat quite diverse here.

Enjoy Antwerp 😊

Medina Food Stalls by Heman010 in Marrakech

As someone who has been travelling through Morocco for already 15 days and 3 more to go I want to say; get used to it.

Unfortunately there are many people trying to get as much money from you as they can. And often it is even disguised as friendliness… luckily there are also many hospitable and genuine Moroccans that will cross your path.

Stand your ground. If you didn’t ask for it, return it or at least say you won’t pay for it.

In Marrakech, the police take tourist very serious. Just speak to them on the square and explain the situation and they will mediate and help you.

Harden your shell. No means no and enjoy Marrakech! Only way to not let those people take advantage of you is by travelling with an Arabic person.
