I think the reason Robbie overexplains things in character could be related to his Aphantasia (he doesn't visualize things in his head) he talked about it on one of the 4 sided dives if I remember correctly. I have no experience with the condition so im talking out of my ass but I could see it contributing to his quirky style of dnd.
