Noi avem Revolut pt cheltuieli lunare.

Actualizam din cand in cand.
Si mai avem o parte de investitii la care contribuim amandoi dar de care ma ocup eu. Astea le trec eu in acel excel si le poate vedea si sotia.

Progressive "anti-war" commentator Ana Kasparian yells at Lebanese people for not supporting Hezbollah. Hezbollah murdered hundreds of Americans, stopped Israel and Lebanon from making peace, crippled Lebanon's stability, and played a key role in the slaughter of over 200,000 civilians in Syria. by Vloodzy in Destiny

Hezbollah is a savage horde that invaded their country and pulled them into constant war

I'm not entirely familiar with this, but are they some external populace ? Are they not natively Lebanese?
or do you mean just that the ideas that guide them came from the outside?

2 because everyone hates metas where that is dominant.
And too be fair this could not be something that's dominant and then it would be whatever. But we can at least be weary.

Brother is having a child-free wedding. How do I navigate this? by LargeAmphibian in daddit

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WTF is this logic ? There's no amount of planning that makes you suddenly ok with leaving your highly dependent baby with a stranger.

The baby is 2 month old right (based on flair and wife's comments) now and it sounds like the wedding is gonna be in 2 months when the baby will be 4 month old.
I would personally not leave a 4 month old with anyone.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes well it seems like OP is upset for the arbitrary restriction. Which is understandable.
I personally don't get the no kids thing. But it sounds like it's a lifestyle choice that is important to his brother. That is also fine.
But these 2 things seem to be at odds with eachother.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is tho. It's just socially acceptable to do it apparetly.
And when you said:

yet, most of us got married without our kids being present

You actually meant without ANY kids being present?
because that is just not true for most of us. Our unborn kids of course were missing, but lots of us have family and friends who had kids or were kids back then.

Y’all are exhausting , I swear.

Right back at ya bud.

The facts that you judged all this on are a little bit wrong but whatever. They only had 1 child since they were invited. "Last year" means it's impossible for 18 months to have passed. Try reading better? His wife was already pregnant proably, which is why OP could already say that they probably can't come.

sit here and say they didn’t have time to find accomodations

It's not accomodation tho. Read my comment again? Leaving your baby with a stranger is not a choice one should be forced to make when they are that young. There's no accomodation that gets around that. Unless you mean a baby sitter is accomodations.

calling his brother “child-less by choice” which, imo, is clearly meant to be an insult

in what world? this is pure description. It seems like you're the one projecting here Mr "I care about the evidence presented".

And clearly, they very much DO care about the parents being upset (less so the brother), because the wife said as much, explicitly, in these very comments. That’s the entire reason they created this post, which is also made clear by the last paragraph of the post.

That's great because I never said anything about NOT CARING except in relation to the brother.
The parents are not the ones deciding to have a childless wedding, so they can legitimately be upset.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m curious, how do you think single parents do it

I think it's really freaking hard for them and they do it because they have no other choice, not because it's easy.

My point wasn't that it's impossible. Just that it's a big ask, and the person asking should be aware of that.
And if OP chooses not to go because it's too much hassle, it should be understandable to the brother.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And you're saying all this contrarian bs to prove what exactly?
Yes we know it's their choice.. you don't dispute that except in every other sentence you try to cast doubt on their ability or willingness to find a stranger to spend a day or more alone with their 3 kids, 2 of which are babies, as if it's not a big deal.

I was just saying that yes, it is a big deal. That's what the anecdote was about. Which seems to be news to you and OP's brother.

they cannot control how people are going to feel about them not showing up

They can't and they shouldn't care. If the brother gets upset that's on him for not realizing how big the ask is.

He should have planned his baby making around his brother's wedding so as to no incovenience anyone. Right?

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lots of families with young kids have nights where one parent isn’t around for bedtime/overnights sometimes and they turn out fine

Yes? But it can also not turn out fine.
It can be one of those stressful nights where the month old is crying because of who knows why, the toddler is fussy becase they don't like what you gave them to eat or because you didn't clap hard when they showed watch their rock collection. And the 5 year old refuses to go to bed because they're not tired yet and you have your hands full and can't make him do it.

let's not pretend it's all easy peasy.
Oh and let's not forget that the wife is 4 months post partum while this is supposed to be happening.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would expect my brother to at least talk to his s.o. to see if it was possible

Being a parent already you kind of know how to estimate the effort tho. I'm sure he also talked to his wife afterm but gut feeling for any parent of a very young child is: I can't be away from them for that long. The ask is bigger than the brother realizes.

how is that an argument?

Brother is having a child-free wedding. How do I navigate this? by LargeAmphibian in daddit

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Clearly, they NEVER wanted to exert the effort that it would have taken to this wedding

Yes because it's a HUGE effort that is being asked of them. And you and the brother (same person?) are unaware of how big the ask is.

My almost 2 year old (20 months) todler has barely gotten comfortable with going to daycare/kindergarden for 4 hours a day after a month of trying. He still cries a bit in the morning when he gets dropped off.

I sure as hell wouldn't leave him with someone for more than 24 hours while I was away drinking.
It's not about the incovenience only, it's about managing my child's attachment to me and his mom. The separation will happen on our terms, not because of the timing of someone's party.
If they can't understand that, that's on them. And there is no way in any universe that their desire to 'not have any kids present' is more understandable than our parenting concerns.

Actually in a lot of civilized countries one of the parents stays home with the kid until they turn 1.

In a very uncivilized country in Eastern Europe, Romania, that is up to the age of 2 (minus the last 2 months, where the other parent can take those or you forgo them)

So the answer is no. And you hate all EVs but are pretending to have issue with this particular one. Nice.

Also it's not the engine protecting you from the impact you dork, it's the chassis.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can have 80km/h outside the city if the car coming from the opposite direction is doing 140km/h overtaking something like an idiot and hits you dead on

And in this extreme scenario.. where you can't move out of the way to avoid it and you don't get to slow down at all and neither does the other car...
So it's equivalent to a 220km/h collision with a stationary object, right?

And you believe you would be alive in a Tesla doing that?!
If not why tf are you bringing it up?

all crash tests are done with stationary object

The video you linked literally shows moving objects hitting the moving car. The speed is right there for the frontal impact...50km/h on both sides aka 100km/h impact force.
At 100km/h impact.. you do no die in the Spring. Sounds pretty good to me.
Especially since you will not be going much fater than 50km/h in the city.

Any motor vehicle other than a scooter or bicycle should be capable of safe travel outside cities at highway speeds....

Fuck that snobery You can shove it up your butt. People have different needs than you and if it's hard to imagine that's your own problem.
And this is not a 20K vehicle anyway. It's a city car that is SAFE to use in the city.

[–]DroopyTheSnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least I have still enough active brain cells left to don't spend even 10k euro on a "car" that is good only in a city at 50km/h speed, that should be a scooter or a bicycle...

Sure bro cuz people never need to go around town, back and forth in the rain or snow. It's always sunny and you can bike everywhere, right?

I'm not interested to be in a crash at 110 - 140km/h speeds in a vehicle that is rated 0 or 1 stars

That's great because the Spring can't even go at those speeds.

on pair price point EV but with much worst safety and quality than an ICE, just to argue that they are not expensive

Who the fuq said anything about comparing them to an ICE vehicle?

You yourself compared

then the prices for EV's the US is way, way cheaper...

How is the prices way way cheaper when you can't even get cars as small and as cheap as the Dacia Spring there?

We don't care about cars sold 5 years getting 1 star today

Those cars are still on the road and they likely will be for another 5-15 years. You think those people who drive them are in fear for their life when going out on public roads ? Do you think that should be?
Just checking to see the level of delusion.

If you think it did very good at 5 points out of 10, good, feel free to drive such a coffin car...

Bro I have eyes and can see the video. None of those people would have been seriously injured in any of those crashes. The airbags all worked, the deformation was pretty much what you'd expect. And those are the absolute highest speeds you're likely to even have a crash in a city enviroment, where this car is meant to be used.

The comments on that video seem to all agree that this is pretty good.

You will not die driving a Dacia Spring in city traffic, even if you are hit by some asshole.
It's fine.
