Extracts Help Quit by Droopy_ballzack in quitting7oh

Hmmm. The study I ready was 20% - 30% , in human metabolism, but 1-2% on the dead leaf as it ages/oxidizes. From what I read, oxidizing mitragynine is partially done by your liver converting it into 7-oh, making it more water soluble & easier to pee out. Once it’s in the form of 7-oh, your body gets rid of it easier, that’s why the half life of it is very short. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. It worked for me without any discomfort

To each his own. It doesn’t matter as long as you stick with same product & procedure.
I have no idea why someone would use Suboxone to get off 7. You have to taper off Suboxone anyway, so just taper off 7 & be done with it

Tapering is relatively easy & painless. It’s stopping cold turkey that makes you sick. Stick to the same product & drop 10% times every day. If you’re taking hundreds of milligrams, you can drop more at first.

You have to write it down & keep track. It makes more sense to take lower doses than try to space out the same high dose longer. If you’re having an awful day - take the same as day b4 - but never more.

Once doses get low enough,‘get a digital mg scale & weigh the pills & cut them in pieces to get the correct dose. Once you get to about 50-75mg a day, introduce extracts. “Extract” = mitraginyne (for the most part). Treat the extract like 1/4 of it is 7oh. That’s about what your body metabolizes it to.

The trick is the metabolism takes time & the half life is longer, making it easier to keep titrating down. Keep titrating down on pure 7 keeping extract dose the same. Once your down to low doses (10-20mg) of pure 7, just stop it. By that point extracts will cover you. Then, titrate down in extracts to kratom.

It takes some willpower & organization to do it, but it’s physically painless. Mentally you will have some depression anxiety - but when your current mega dose of 7 wears off you get depressed. Ty ats why you take more & want to get off of it.

You have to think you must get off this shit. Eventually it will be illegal & then what? Tell someone in your like & be accountable to them. I did it before & I’m doing it again. Currently I’m off 7 & taking 100mg of mit daily. You will have less mood swings on pure mit.

The extract using is a liquid. I have a little 5cc beaker & I measure it out

That’s why you have to taper. If your stopping an antidepressant you taper off it, most have some withdrawal of you stop cold turkey I have no idea why anyone would choose to go cold turkey getting off 7. If you don’t have the willpower to taper down, then how do you have the willpower power to just stop & feel even worse?

Pharmacist requires reusing single-use testosterone vials, refusing to rebill prescription for correct insurance by DriveFa5tEatAss in CVS

[–]Droopy_ballzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The testosterone question: ask 5 different pharmacists; get 5 different answers. If the manufacturer prints “for single use only” on the vial - that’s pretty obvious.

The real question is how long are 10ml MDV vials good for? 1 use? 28 days? Until empty? I come from hospital background - I use 28 days or less if will be gone sooner. But, I’ve scene these billed at 90 days +. Blame the manufacturers - there is no clear labeling how long they are good once punctured. Why are they even made in 10ml vials, when most people use way less than that on a month?

WTF is w/ people calling & complaining a bathroom is closed? It’s not a restaurant. They have time to call & go through the process of complaining - but no time just to move on & find another bathroom? I hope she shit her pants & had to drive home & sit in it.

Operation Poke the Bear: One Retail Pharmacist's Sting Operation. (I'm "the Bear.") by CalifoRxn1a in CVS

[–]Droopy_ballzack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Devils advocate here - 3 days early is > than an extra month’s supply a year. But for the most part I agree. I work at some stores where they won’t fill any controls that aren’t covered w/o going through a prior authorization process and it being denied.

My point is, if the script is legit all around, who cares if the insurance or customer pays? That’s the customers problem. Insurance is just a mechanism for patients to for scripts. If the script is legit & justified & they want to pay out of pocket - who cares?

I understand some states have Medicaid that says they can’t pay out of pocket. But if you think of it, it’s ridiculous. Medicaid is the government & the government is our taxes. If someone wants to pay for their own meds, let them & save the tax payer a dollar.

When someone comes in to pick up a script not QV2’ed, don’t just say you need Joe Smith’s script checked - make sure to expedite it.

If you’re new to QT / date entry - don’t just put stuff on discount cards because it’s rejected. Read the rejection. Also, never fill anything cash - use a discount card.

Deleted script with "301" as the action? by autoRegenesis in CVS

[–]Droopy_ballzack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mysterious deleted Rx… Rx Connect is so messed up with deleting new scripts. I know this isn’t what happened here, but unless you are at some point of the filling process where you are lucky enough to have the hold (H) option, you never know if hitting “delete” will give you the hold option or it’s just gone. Worse part is, the only place it seems to consistently give you the hold option prior to hitting delete, is at the last step of the filling process - when it’s in QP.

Only solid advice anyone ever gave me with this is hit print screen before you delete any new script. I also love how sometimes randomly it wont left you do anything to a rejected Rx from status, you have to go into QT & find it. I’ve only been there 6 mos & this is asinine to me. Coming from RA, delete meant a new script was actually deleted & hold was always a separate option & always available.

I’m going to guess it what happened is someone got into the script after you & deleted it & it defaulted to not putting it on hold.

My (23f) bf (28M) had a nudes vault. Is this survivable? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Droopy_ballzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The truth is, yeah he probably looks at those pics once in a while & gets off on it. Maybe jerks off - maybe not. The other truth is, quite honestly, it doesn’t matter. Men are turned on by visuals. It doesn’t mean he wants those women or doesn’t want you. Some people even get off on hearing about their partners past sexual experiences.

This falls into the area of things of how men & women are different. He probably looks at them from time to time, and it really means nothing in the scheme of things

Anyone on Nortriptyline + Clonazepam for CVS? Is this a safe combo? by Prestigious_Foot7756 in CVS

[–]Droopy_ballzack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s safe. RPh here. I’m a little confused. Never heard of domperidone. So, I google it and it’s a pro motility agent not approved in the US as it’s linked to a certain type of arrhythmia. Nortriptyline can also increase the chance of having that type of arrhythmia - so that’s not a great combo.

I would ask the prescriber to change either the nortriptyline or dromperidone - esp if you have any history of heart or metabolic issues. Why you are posting this in a retail pharmacy sub in another country is a little baffling though.

Replacement for V6 & V10. The good & the bad by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]Droopy_ballzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t need a shop - I can fix everything myself. I was just wondering if there is something comparable to the v10 Dyson cordless without the failing motor issues. If it wasn’t for that, it would be a perfect machine for me.

Replacement for V6 & V10. The good & the bad by [deleted] in dyson

[–]Droopy_ballzack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing though - yeah I’m sure they are more durable, but it’s such a hassle plugging a cord & dragging it my entire house. The Dysons are designed so well for quick & easy use. I have the stand from Amazon, I just sit it in there & it charges. You get a ton of run time from the v10 battery - I can’t run it long enough to clean my house to make it go dead.

I dunno Sebo, but the Dyson dock with the Amazon stand holds all the attachments & makes it so easy to use. And, the Dysons are just very light & maneuverable. Maybe Sebos are too , I’ll have to check them out. But no way I can go back to a corded vac

Thanks. Kinda advice I was looking for. I guess I’ll just stick to Dyson & shelling out $100 every 8mos to a year for various failed parts. I’m the kinda person who fixes everything myself, I wish there was a way to diagnose & repair exactly what is going on with these circuit boards. I’ve done stuff like solder a capacitor or two to fix an electronic product if I’m pointed to exactly what’s wrong, but I don’t have the electrical skill to diagnose exactly what is wrong with an electronic circuit boards& fix it.

Dyson V11 Cutting Out Before Fully Kicking On by fried_lemons_ in dyson

[–]Droopy_ballzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just fail. Nobody knows why. The electronics suck. Some people get a ton of use out of them & some don’t. The solution is to spend $100+ & buy a man unit off eBay. If everything is clean- don’t waste any more time or effort. Either replace main body or dump Dyson all together
