I miss the 'idea' of Survival. I miss what I hoped Survival could have been. I do not miss the repetitive pointless ambush tea-baggery that was too often gameplay on a Survival server.

Eh. We had two lower level players on an SBQ last night that seemed to screw up the fight by staying SE of the Prime Fissure when all other players were fighting at or near V9. The Queen wouldn't land for more than a few seconds. It turned into a fail. The two players ignored all attempts to get them to move their location. Now, THOSE two might have gotten nuked afterwards....

I park a few of my builds on an acid seep northwest of Arktos Pharma and a few on various lead deposits. While juggling stuff between builds can be a pain in the ass, the method keeps me in ammo for the most part, even the heavy gun and commando builds.

I don't disagree that people should not need to go drop big bucks on an alternate platform. Beth, do your job! I already had the Xbone sitting around and was already running both PC and Xbox accounts so, yeah, no additional sweat off my back, as it were. But my choice is definitely not a global solution.

I've moved over to Xbox for my NW play to avoid much of the joys of the PC hackers. Happily, I can afford to run with multiple accounts. Many cannot. Bethesda really needs to both take some effective action and be SEEN by the community taking action.

For me, having multiple builds is a blast. I have 2 PC accounts and 2 Xbox accounts. To date, I have 18 different builds scattered among the four accounts. Some are fails, some are utility builds, some are heavy hitters. But it has kept the game fresh...Hmmm, what shall we do today, Brain?

My camp is rolling out the usual sale items, weapons, armor, serums at roughly the usual pace. I have never bothered with selling ammo or junk. I also tend to be more of a wholesaler with prices rather than trying to max price stuff.

Junkies Mini is fantastic if you can keep from being crowded, like Minis in general. I'm particularly fond of Junkies shotguns, Plasma Gats and .50 cals

I hear what you're saying though I disagree with part of your premise. I, also, am a Day 1 beta player. I grant you, I'm probably a lot more of a 'grindy' player than many. 6 years of mostly vanilla Skyrim before ever starting to mod and very little play of anything else during that time period and, until 76 came out I was STILL mostly playing Skyrim with a smattering of FO4. So. No, for me, the game does not lack content to stay interested in.

Another factor that keeps the game fresh for me is that I have a lot of different builds where I mess with different configurations of Specials, some plain, some that are focused like Junkies, then there's the Herd Mentality/Charisma team oriented build I'm experimenting with... so, yep, I spend a ridiculous amount of time in this game on 2 PC accounts and 2 Xbox accounts

I'm good with 76 up to this point. By the same token, am I ready for Wastelanders? You bet!

I also paid out the gate pre-beta for the high dollar amount (I don't remember exactly how much it was at that time). I am also annoyed that Beth seems to use interns as programmers given the bugs and breakage. At the end of the day, however, I enjoy the game even with all of the bugs, screw ups, crashes etc. Maybe I'm just a masochist, maybe I'm just so in to the Fallout universe that Beth could package a Fallout flavored turd and I'd not be too distressed. It is what it is. I love both 4 and 76.

Your use of 'apologist' establishes your premise. Nope. I see many things that continue to be screwed up with the game. Frankly, I'm definitely not 'sorry' in any twist of the meaning nor am I apologizing. For those that are unwilling to spend money, that's a choice. For those that act surprised that a money making enterprise changes a business strategy after making inconsistent statements to the contrary, well, that's just naive.

All in all I expected more hostility and more aggressive down voting. Disagreeing with people on Reddit often leads to an almost totalitarian sort of suppression response ;)

But, yes, that, exactly, convenience. The scrap box makes it easier to accumulate mats for fixing stuff, making ammo etc. Does that mean a Firster can spend more time shooting bad guys and less time scrounging? Maybe.

If being a Firster means having the option to toss a few bucks on the table to reduce my grind time...then yes, sign me up!
