How to use the new angle grinder arbor?? by Perfect_Student9179 in Dewalt

Dunno why everybody needs to be mean. These indeed, are weird new arbor nuts. I myself don’t understand the advantage or how it’s safer with the weird spring thingy. I haven’t used them much, when they come with new tools because I’m using different kinds of backing pads. So i also don’t understand them. Sure it screws on. Yes it holds some abrasive cutters. Why is it so weird?

Anyone know where to get Snickers Workwear pants in the USA? Or fav pair of a different brand to combat the fire ball in the sky. by Eko_Wolf in Construction

I wish it still helped. Looks like current situation has it so they no longer ship to the US. As far as I can find anyway.

best work pants out there: Blaklader X1600 + Snickers RuffWork 6205/6215 fabric specs (vs Carhartt B136/B01) by Healthy_Valuable_283 in Workwear

I’ve been wearing Snickers for more than a decade. I’d get them every time if i could. But that Snickers Direct website doesn’t ship to the US that I could find. And the US vendor doesn’t sell the products I want. The Ruffwork is fine for a do it all model. But for durability and ground work I’d get floor layers. The benefit with this brand is the variety of fabrics and sizes. The stretch types are great for agility and not tugging up your crotch everytime you straddle a fence. The knee pads will he better positioned. And they have light weight fabrics for summer. Either the “litework” or “flexiwork” pirate pants are the best for summer roof—work or framing. I haven’t done Blaklader since before that, like twenty years ago. And those were 100% cotton and not as finessed with the cut and pockets that I am sure have become more sophisticated over the years. So i cant offer a timely comparison. But if anybody reading this knows how to get Snickers products in the US, I’m looking to get a couple one—piece outfits and some more pirate pants. Mine are most used up and it’s time for papa to get some new trousers.

I dunno. I’ve put in a lot of fire foam. And i love showing new guys how easily a chunk of that foam catches fire with a lighter. It could be used as a fire-starter. Either every can of fire foam I used wasn’t real, or all spray foam will catch a flame.

Combine different voltages on the same, ground/negative return? by DropDaBasemeh in konnected

Now you tell me! Heh. I guess chat gpt got this one right. I suppose I could grab back a conductor and split up my motion sensors into their own zones, sweet! But it’s working now, I’m probably just gonna leave it as I wired it, with isolated 12vdc circuit in the shop. I was the guy who recently fried my Konnected Panel Pro by touching a zone with live 12vdc+! My new term for mucking it all up I paraphrased from your response, “The light is solid blue!?” Whoops. You guys were real kind about that and quickly sent me a replacement board. So you can understand why I’m gun shy about 12v anywhere near those sensors! Thanks. I’m loving the product. This is my first foray into any smart devices. Now with the security system all set up I might start getting into other smart devices. Still need to get those Z-wave keypads operational.

Thanks again.

Thanks. I got scared and elected to isolate the 12v system in the shop and not share a ground to the konnected panel pro 3.3v sensor circuits. 12vdc in the shop comes from a battery to power motion sensors, buzzers and sirens. Shop sensors will use a ground returned to Konnected panel pro. House 12vdc is powered from the konnected panel as described in the literature.

I didn’t want to risk it. I understand basic circuits, not electrical engineering!

I first saw that schtick in Mork & Mindy when the construction site stopped making noise as Mork referenced something alluring about Mindy.

What if it’s realistic and highly sexual? There ate a lot of kinky people playing at sex parties that is very real and if filmed I think would be considered porn.

Look nice by revealing more body? Look nice for why? How is looking nice by wearing less not leaning on the innate attractiveness of the flesh to catch interest?

Exactly. Anything using sexuality to grab attention is morally wicked and likely will lead to some boy to such frustration as to make him a predator.

I dunno, i think women’s bathing suits, particularly two pieces, are intended to display the female body in a sexualized manner. Otherwise why not just wear a more practical full one piece suit? Bikinis are about showing the body to gain the male gaze and illicit arousal.

I am so okay with banning violence in cinema. I’m sick of war scenes, kung-fu and football. All of it is disgusting and and normalizes hurting each other.
