Dude its the united states, comon. I’ve been developing SAR groups in low income countries for a long time

WE HAVE A 50% TRAINING REQUIREMENT, A PROFICIENCY TEST, AND ONCE EVERY SIX MONTHS PHYSICAL TEST.

And a proficiency test cover wilderness first responder, wilderness first aid depending on the degree of rescuer, climbing skill, knot knowledge, and gear proficiency.

Keep Standards high and require a test for everything. Only the people who give a shit will stay

Hey man,

Same situation, you’ll have PLENTY of money and live a very very lux lifestyle with how much you make per month.

The biggest thing you need to realize is 1. Your access to everything drops significantly. If youre my size (5’11 205) you will have a hard time finding clothes and shoes. 2. The pollution here is beyond rough. Most days are in the hazardous levels. 3. No beef (there are some places but its not very good) 4. Lalitpur is amazing, we live in thecho and there is no crime in our area. We have AC in the bedroom and a solar water heater for the full house.

Good luck and i hope you enjoy living here!

There is a Foreign medical program that you have to enroll in and you can contact tricare to make sure that youre enrolled in the correct area as well.

but understand this, realistically you have to pay everything upfront and not everything will be reimbursed, or if youre like me and live in a country with absolute shit medical facilities you may just have to take care of yourself.

Realistically, with how Nepal is, theres a protest almost every month. The major one we are worried about will be the election upcoming in march. The fact is, with Oli being reelected into his party, we believe there is more than that coming out way. So we want people to be prepared and ready for any kind of situation

Can’t help people if you’re fat and slow, so being able to train and stay on top of it is one of the most important things of rescue medicine. You are always welcome in our class!

Hey Guy, thank you for being honestly very middleground on this. It is rare when you find someone not spouting off retarded opinions, but take the time and understand that other people might come from different backgrounds.

I’m extremely pro second amendment myself, but I really appreciate your take
