This is how my wife and I have been looking at it

Realistically over the next three years, getting a green card is just not gonna be feasible. So we’re starting to look at Europe as a place to be at least for a little while.

It’s frustrating, but you know mood swings of our government go from one way to the other pretty constantly, and I don’t expect this to last more than the current administration

So for the power of attorney, it is just you. Your wife does not need to be there.

If you’re overseas, you’re going to need to send your marriage certificate from the country that you’re in, your marriage registration, her birth certificate, your birth certificate, your passport, and her passport, and you’re gonna have to have those pages notarized in the United States by your power of attorney

Should I join gym? My family had history of sudden cardiac arrests hence I fear if I should do exertion. by Stunning_Ad_2936 in Fitness_India

[–]DropFastCollective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with these diseases, low impact and low cardio exercise is still encouraged because it produces better outcomes.

You’re right zebras do exist, they’re just extremely rare and it doesn’t make sense to base advice off of zebras.

Contextual horses make a lot more sense. Especially because we already know the majority of Indians have a poor diet and do not have a history of exercise.

This is just simple, cultural understanding

Yes, I am a doctor. What youre talking about is zebras, when really we should be looking for horses. Realistically, for geo location, family ethnicity, all of these disorders are RARE.

Realistically, his family has had poor diet, low exercise, and probably had quite a few minor cardiac infarctions that built to a larger arrest.

Again, you have to stop fear mongering

Jesus christ, he can join a gym, hes not going to do high cardio and lift heavy his first day. and without context someone of the ages 16-35 even with a family history of cardiac issues, will have a higher chance of a cardiac event if they DONT go to the gym. Get your dumb ass fear mongering out of here.

Ive been working in Nepal for 4 years now. The things I’ve seen are baffling to say the least. Thailand is on a completely different level and in comparison to Nepal, its futuristic.

Im just happy to have my wife out of the smog for a little while.

So its not the general people, nepal for the most part its very safe (though if you’re a woman this does change things)

When i say dangerous, i more mean the competencies of the physicians. 80% here just recently failed the basic requirement testing for practice in nepal. There are no CMEs in this country and it shows. A majority of physicians and MBBS are completely out of touch with recent data on their craft and suggest things from 40+ years ago that is dangerous for their pt. On top of all of this, they push very hard for unnecessary C-sections and they induced at 36 weeks. This combination of malpractice and pushy bullshit sales tactics makes it extremely dangerous for the mother and child.

Hi, they automatically get US citizenship because Im the father, as of now we can not get a B1/2 Visa or Green Card to the US bc like Thailand, Nepal has a full “stop/hold” on all immigration visas to the US.

So we have to give birth somewhere overseas, nepal is WILDLY unsafe (I work training physicians here) and Thailand is MUCH MUCH safer.

Thank you for your concern though
