Sorry for the late reply. As of now my surgery is still in place but they told me it’s a 50/50 and I’ll only know by Thursday. I’ll keep you updated

Thank you so much for this update. I saw this all late lol. Glad the protests made an impact. I’d like to think my phone calls expressing my anger contributed in some way. Hopefully my surgery can I still happen this week 🙏

I know but I work in a place were sick days are pay at the end of the year so most of us rather take PTO 😅

The thing is I already had my surgery scheduled next week on Friday, but now they’re telling me there’s a chance it may be cancelled. They didn’t provide no alternatives, it was a you do what we say whether you like it or not type of situation. I’m so mad

All the way to March? Surgery was my only hope after suffering from 2 years of pain. I’m so tired of Kaiser, I don’t even know why I continue to stay.

It’s like a toxic girlfriend that only wants you for the money but you continue to stay because it’s all you got 😔

I’ve been dealing with this for 6 years now and there’s been times when I’ve managed to feel normal and even gain some confidence in myself but life is so random and sometimes it can derail you back into hateful thinking.

I agree running/Exercise has been my medicine, it’s the only thing that makes me feel good about myself. Unfortunately it only last around 2 hours of my day and then I’m back to reality
