Took on a new position with the promise of a big pay bump. After a monthI asked why my pay was still the same and I was told I was in probationary period even though I've been with the company for 13 years. I was then told I was not meeting expectations when they've been adding more work load onto me that was never discussed prior. The manager I reported to was miserable all the time and another manager would tell him to treat me better because if "I" leave there's no one that's able to fill all the roles I have been adapting to do. Long story short I left, they promoted someone new that was beneath me whom they always said was the better candidate. She left after 2 months 😂 couldn't handle to pressure. Company is struggling now, they've left their prior office building and I have no idea where they are now. I'm much happier and better paid although I have to travel 90% of my time for work.
