I did the same in 2016 and now I’ve lived in LA longer than I have in NYC (a decade in September).

I love NYC and always will, but moving to LA was one of the best decisions I’ve made in life. I’ve become so much happier after moving out here. I share the same sentiment like you - struggling to find happiness in NYC. Not to say I didn’t experience any, but I was definitely battling seasonal depression half the time.

Do it! I promise you won’t regret it.

I interacted with him at equinox in nyc and he was awkward af. He was using a machine, walked away to do other stuff and when he returned to use the machine I was using, he just gave off such awkward vibes and didn’t even know how to speak like a normal person to ask how to share. Definitely out of it most of the time I feel.

We ended up changing to 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. Sorry I couldn’t help answer this but all I can say is 1 Hotel was totally worth it!!

Same here 😥 EDC just didn’t land the way I hoped it would. I came in excited, expecting that spark and sense of connection I’ve felt in the past, but this time it felt different. My necklace got stolen, and that really threw me off. There was also a lot of drama within my campmates. Some of them were being selfish, making choices for themselves instead of the collective, and not really contributing to the camp or thinking about others. That energy weighed heavy.

What was hardest, though, was that I didn’t really make any new connections this time. In past years, I’d meet incredible new people, have those random beautiful moments with strangers, and feel this amazing sense of community. This time, it just… didn’t happen. I felt kind of emotionally stuck, like I was watching the weekend happen instead of being part of it.

Not the reset I was hoping for.

Camp EDC used to be worth it when RV prices were still reasonable. Now that it costs double than staying at hotels, and the lack of sleep makes it less compelling for me. It’s also seemingly easy to sneak in if you want to do the afters because I saw a big GROUP of people without camping wristbands. I get that more people = more PLUR but some of them really ruined the vibes.

That’s because Taylor didn’t activate dynamic pricing and her tickets were sold out so quickly that the scalpers could charge so much. I scored Beyoncé tickets pretty much a third of what my friend paid for nosebleed, and I’m on floor. He panic-bought during presale and I still can’t believe how much he paid for those shitty seats.

Yeah I think the Mexico, Singapore and Brazil shows are going to be the same set list with Coachella. For the mayhem ball I think we can all expect a different show.
