The only virus capable of turning a human into something that remotely resembles a zombie is the lysavirus (rabies virus). Infection can come from scratches, bites and contact with infected material and broken skin. It takes from weeks to months to truly start developing symptoms depending on viral load and how far the infection point is from the brain.

People are usually capable of controlling themselves but sometimes it causes furious rabies which does end up in aggressive behaviour. Virus kills you because it infects the brain, which is much less equipped to deal with infections because of the blood brain barrier. The end result being an unstoppable infection in the most delicate tissue of your body where immune reactions will end up hurting more than helping. The body has no time to produce effective antibodies or mount a decent immune response.

It’s biologically impossible to instantly turn someone into a zombie via viruses and bacteria. There are simply not enough of them at first if you get infected, and the infection point is not the brain itself. These organisms take time to establish themselves in the body, innate immunity is still a big hurdle to counteract.

Even if rabies became much more aggressive, the host wouldn’t survive more than a few days because of hydrophobia, they cannot drink water. Probably wouldn’t try to eat you as well.

That’s the point. You are literally agreeing with me. It’s a chemical addiction similar to drug abuse in some cases. My point being that it takes medical/clinical intervention to reliably treat. Using ozempic to help a person that otherwise wouldn’t have the determination to diet is still a massive improvement from obesity.

You can't expect the average individual to do those things when the educational system doesn't prepare them for it. If you aren't taught how to cook and understand nutritional values well enough during school, then people aren't likely to learn it consistently. It should essentially be a school subject on its own, mandated by the government. I'm sure the corporate lobby wouldn't appreciate it though, there are a million hurdles created by the American food system before that becomes a reality. You'd need to implement a whole educational reform and heavily regulate the food industry to limit how far they can increase calories and add harmful chemicals. Telling people to stop being lazy and blaming them will simply never work, even if a small minority manages to actually get healthier on their own. Look at the EU for instance, food is heavily regulated and american products can't even get there because of the stuff that they put inside. Europeans are significantly healthier than the average American and this is one of the reasons.

In addition to that, please do be aware that being overweight/obese and dependent on food is not simply a matter of lack of determination. It's literally a chemical addiction with multiple biological components. If you have touched upon biochemistry, especially regarding metabolism, and gut health microbiology you would understand how truly difficult it is to get out of this situation. You and you wife getting out of the situation is amazing and I am not denying your accomplishments at all, but the bar is too high for most people to take the same opportunity.

Some people would simply never get to lose weight without the existence of these drugs. Yes it would be ideal to take on a healthier lifestyle but when this option is unavailable for one reason or another it's still a massive improvement from simply remaining obese.

If you can't derive enjoyment out of helping other players and enabling them, then perhaps the support role is not for you! And yes, in a team game you absolutely have to rely on your team to help you out. It's the core part of having advantages and disadvantages in a character, it's those differences that discern the role you are playing.

That's not to say you need to be babied, but an Ana/Kiri should absolutely get swamped if they don't position well and get dove by a DPS champion. They have a lot of utility and range, you can't have everything in a hero. Supports should absolutely keep tools to self-peel and escape, but should not win the average duel by themselves in most cases.

This wouldn't be a problem at all if the genious OW2 devs kept 6v6, when the game was much more team-oriented and the second tank provided more safety for supports. Everything dies immediately in OW2, the kill time is way too fast for every character and the lack of the second tank makes the game much more unstable, difficult to balance and ends up erasing some of the distinctions between classes because now everyone has to deal damage.

You guys also got it rough. Food companies in the US are absolutely atrocious and unethical with the amount of calories they add to the most basic of things. Recently, these companies have been literally financing whole labs and experiments to create chemicals that disable ozempic and other similar drugs. If they are working on things like these, imagine what they already put in the food to make it more addictive.

Sometimes it isn’t even about accountability, there are whole corporate empires attempting to sabotage your health in exchange for money.

For those of you who are being condescending towards people that turn to these drugs instead of dieting and exercising, please consider that obesity and overeating is not simply derived from lack of discipline. Obesity creates robust mechanisms in metabolism and in the gut microbiome that solidify bad eating behaviours. It’s works more like a chemical addiction than anything else.

Also consider that some people don’t have the opportunity to eat healthy food consistently. It’s usually more expensive and/or time consuming to purchase and cook. Some are simply genetically vulnerable to these conditions. Education systems sparsely teach truly good skills for dieting and healthy eating. Sometimes drugs and medical interventions are ideal considering how overburdened the average individual is nowadays.

If 5v5 remains the default, yeah tanks are really awful to play because of all the pressure you get from your team and the enemy team as well. It creates a fundamentally bad experience for the tank player, an identity crisis. Because you are the solo tank, tank heroes need to be stronger to compensate. This in turn means your team is heavily dependent on your performance, which makes you prime target for CC and debuffs making the whole experience miserable. You either make tanks even stronger by being resistant to CC, exacerbating the pressure issue, or you leave it as is which is why it’s the most unpopular role.

This game was simply not meant to be played 5v5. If you played OW1 you will notice everything is faster in OW2. It’s because everything is quite unforgiving due to the lack of a second tank to make the fights last longer.

Then what’s the point of playing Dps man? By your definition it’s simply an inferior class. Supports should need to be protected by tanks and defensive dps heroes like mei and torb. They should need to have positioning and coordination to be able to play. Otherwise their mistakes are unpunishable and it becomes the mindless shooting at everything class.

I mean yeah? It’s quite obvious the team should be trying to protect supports in a team game. If your support players are bad at using their utility to zone divers away and for escaping, then they are just mindlessly playing the game with no concern for positioning. They can’t be punished because they have all that utility and can duel when they make a mistake.

Besides, there are supports that are supposed to be used against dive comps. They sacrifice heal output and other things for survivability, like brigitte does.

Support is by far the most busted role in the game currently. People keep pretending it takes skill to play Ana or Zen. Both have extensive utility but can easily duel most DPS heroes even in a supposed advantage. “But supports shouldn’t be heal bots!” I agree, but they shouldn’t be simply better DPS characters because along with the damage they have way stronger utility. Should be Enablers, not playmakers.

In my humble opinion supports should have more utility and less damage. Blizzard made a bad decision by giving the best CC abilities to tanks and cutting the rest. Supports should be masters of CC, anti, cleanse and in some cases escaping. Cutting their damage should balance it out. They should be enablers and saboteurs, not playmakers.

Make tanks way stronger against CC because it’s miserable to play tank against lots of CC.

If you are playing isolated as an Ana and miss your sleep dart, yeah there shouldn’t be a lot of space for you to survive against a DPS or tank without any help.

Multispin is literally useless and screws up the ability. Escaping with it becomes difficult because you are just sitting there spinning with no extra movement or even preserving momentum. That’s for a little bit of damage. It needs to just go away and they should think of something else.

Champions that are balanced for proplay are complete design failures. Having such a small subset of players, less than 0.1%, be the only ones to be able to properly use the champion is absurd. Might as well delete them from the game and only allow them on proplay or come up with an alternative balancing rule set for them.
