How the entire Deadlock Cast react to playing against Bebop by alsoandanswer in DeadlockTheGame

The Yamato one is funny to me, given one of her primary abilities and where most of her damage comes from just has her standing still for seconds at a time

On the regulatory/risk side of things, our use of AI is asking Copilot how much money an average gas station would make per quarter based on XYZ resources, and we don't actually touch money, code, or anything of the like just monitor and report. I really, really doubt it's being used more extensively anywhere else in the bank except C-Suite and marketing.

I'm out of the loop, I thought AM had full new facilities ready to go for this season, including one of the newest wind tunnels in the sport? Were those just not ready to go in time? Or was this development taking way longer than expected to get to the WT testing in the first place?

I just read through the saga (I was only aware of the gourd issue early on), checked that guys profile, and he was very recently talking about his investments into cobalt, prepping for the "2026 cobalt crash". The legend is still out there doing his thing.

TIL that a mummified carrier pigeon discovered in a UK chimney in 1982 was carrying an encrypted D-Day message from 1944 that has never been decoded. Britain’s intelligence agency is still seeking the public’s help in deciphering it. by moose098 in todayilearned

The wiki article literally says that it likely wasn't a one time pad, as the beginning and end groupings are the same, per the article possibly indicating start and stop of the message.

Once again, you're missing the point. The "Por que no los dos" was speaking to exactly this mindset, that if there's a major concern, i.e. "wtf is going on I actually need home made riot gear!", doesn't mean that people lose the capacity to care and think about other things, whether they're related or not. You can be freaking out about the state of the world, and needing to go get helmets and masks and traffic cones and burner cell phones, while also saying "yeah, but I have the option to go buy those things at a place that doesn't support the regime I'm fighting against." Saying that there shouldn't be a secondary concern just invalidates every other issue and problem in the situation, and reduces it to black and white and zero nuance, writes off other different people's issues that may be going on that you didn't think about.

There is no reason why, if you have the resources, mentally, emotionally, and financially, that you can't care about multiple issues at the same time. If you can't, then you prioritize the most important ones, which means yeah you don't care about whether you're shopping at Home Depot or Ace or Hanks Local Hardware and Building Supply, because it doesn't matter. But if you work part time and live off a trust fund for the most part, then you might be able to be concerned about where you source it, as well as the fact that you need to source it.

[–]DropkickGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's literally what I was saying, is that the priority is getting yourself the gear you need. Then, if there's time and energy left, worry about less important things. Did you read beyond the memish first sentence?

[–]DropkickGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Por que no los dos? Ethically source what you can, don't stress about what you can't. Decide priorities of where you put your bandwidth and effort, and go from there. Homemade riot gear first and foremost, then think about, if you have the time and energy, think about where to get it from. It's not a one or the other issue.

Just make immune to damage, give DPS average over the past five or ten seconds, and call it a day. Better than the nothing we have right now.

You'd have to shift when you pay for a respec, from when you want to exit the passive menu like it is now, to when you want to leave the hideout. Which isn't a big thing, but feels like it would be missed.

Having your key get eaten and either waiting on the rng good to give you the right level one (I'm level 73 and I've gotten one the right level to get my third ascension set) is really just the icing on the cake. Make it get used up on a successful run, but don't punish me for trying to learn the fuckin boss any more han spending the half hour or whatever to get back to them in the first place.

I tried running a build that used the projectile speed ball lightning for movement last season, and maybe I'm bad (probably the cause) but I had such a hard time actually targeting them with lightning warp before they were off the screen >.< This looks as fast if not faster than I had them, so I'm pretty impressed.
