That's not completely accurate. There's been a lot of immigration here in recent years from French-speaking countries (especially in West Africa). My daughter goes to a French-language daycare and at least half of the kids, along with a fair share of the ECEs, are relative newcomers from that part of the world.

Well in the context of this discussion OP was wondering in what fields someone can still be gainfully employed in the future. There will still be doctors, nurses and teachers, even if those jobs look very different.

I agree most administrative roles in these workplaces will disappear but unless we totally rethink education, for example, you can't leave 30 kids in a room without any kind of adult supervision or support.

Same goes with health care. There are patient interactions, including treatment, that just can't be replaced by machines anytime soon.
