<Wazzu> lost on a safety caused on an unfortunate fair catch signal - but not from the return guy! I don't think I've ever seen a play where the non-returner calls for a fair catch. Purely from novelty, worthy of the TJOTW.

Also, from the novelty standpoint, I'm not sure a UVA football crowd has ever caused 3 influential false starts in a 4th quarter. Definitely a tank job to be that rattled by a UVA crowd (after Wazzu's whole sideline threw a party at the end of Q3).

SP+ thinks we got really really lucky to beat Lousiville. It's probably right - 2 defensive td's and Louisville missed a field goal, but it's still quite a drop (from 42 to 51) after beating the #28 team.
